Consistency? I Hardly Know Her!

There’s 4 regions. I’d take that to mean. Continents, most likely? Some separated by ocean, some who share borders (TD and Lost Temple share a border canonically)

We have. 7 continents. Obviously the number of continents doesn’t determine the size of a planet. For a lot of Earth’s history it was fucking ONE continent. But it’s interestingggg the way the regions are talked about?

Think about like. Blackrock. We’ve heard of two mountain ranges. Presumably most of Blackrock is a sort of valley surrounded by mountains.

MORE BIOGRAFTS LIVE THERE. THAN PEOPLE. BUOGRAFTS WHO WERE INVENTED 3 YEARS AGO.

Not hard proof, because. Blackrock probably produces a lot of biografts, and they probably keep their population/spawning highly regulated. STILL INTERESTING THOUGH???

I think the main thing that gave me this idea was the Phighting lobby, Crossroads. Crossroads is not canon. The layout of it is entirely uncanon and we’re getting an updated map when new crossroads comes out.

BUT THE FACT THAT THEY WERE ABLE TO BUILD BRIDGES TO EVERY REGION? FROM CROSSROADS???? AND THE SIGNS SAY SHIT LIKE. “30 KM - Lost Temple” 30?????!!!!!!

And again. That CAN’T be canon. But it still puts the idea in my head that. INPHERNO IS SMALL!

Not to mention. Every character we’ve ever seen was based on a gear in the Roblox Catalogue. Do you know how many items are in there? IT’S NOT A LOT. IT’S NOWHERE NEAR 8 BILLION. IT’S NOWHERE NEAR 1 BILLION, EVEN. IT’S. 2 THOUSAND.

I think Soda said some characters in universe would have gears outside of the catalogue. It’s not SOLELY based on that. A gear can technically be anything. I don’t think inphernals as a species would survive as a total population of TWO THOUSAND… BUT LIKE STILL?????

This is all. Non canon. Small. Supplementary evidence. But I just get the vibes that Inpherno is like. Mercury sized.

Blackrock government rations suck ASSSSSSS straight DOOOOOKIE ofc theres the Blackrock Slop™ but the assery gets deeper

There's a breakfast item that's basically pancakes right? They're thin, almost colorless disks that tear like fabric and are never fully cooked.

There's this like. """Steak""". No one knows what it actually is. But it's not steak. It's some sort of meat that tastes kind of bitter and has like no fat and no seasonings and its molded into the shape of a steak.

Now these two examples may lead someone to concluding all blackrock food sucks, but that's not true!! The good shit is in rural communities where the government doesn't have as much grasp on the culture, where traditional dresses and coats are more common than the black and gray uniforms. Now this food still has its limitations, being in a mountain, but it's considerable better than the rations.

They're of course known for soups and stews, there's one town with a perpetual stew that the whole town contributes to and it's maintained by a mom and pop restaurant.

But they also have pretty good pastries! Like. It's a fucking mystery how the pancake rations got fucked up that bad when it's traditionally one of the best things a blackrockian can make. What. (Also they have absolutely delicious macarons and are where baklava comes from in the inpherno)

ANYWHO! I have the memory of a goldfish and we don't know if we've told you folks this one yet, but Inphernals don't have feet! Instead of feet, they have pawz! Or, in some cases, hooves or birb feet! Around 50-55% of the population are spawned with claws, this **was** 99% but then BLACKROCK messed it up big by killing a lotta people with claws, making there more Inphernals without claws who then go on to spawn a child who will likely also not have claws.

Did we tell you the one about teeth? Well in case I didn't, Inphernals don't have regular human teeth, they have sharper more wolf like ones! This is in the entire population, but deities have something closer to fangs!

Anywho, we have nothing more to report.

that said, they've long been obsolete in blackrock and began losing credibility in thieves' den after the scorch. most inphernals outside of those factions didn't know about them regardless.

thieves' den's did account for the scenario in which none of the swords are present though; you were helpless from the start, and wheter you held your own or not, you walk the path alone. Just like you did in life.

I’ve always thought. The loss of his eye HAS to come from his parents. Like. We know it wasn’t Valk or Firebrand. Umbrella cares too much about him. WHO ELSE IS HE SEEING. HIS PARENTS ARE THE ONLY OPTION

Valk and Dom dislike their parents. Their parents were in a violent altercation. Firebrand has to step in as a parent. WE KNOW THIS. ONE OF THEM HAD TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DOM’S INJURIES.

Okay but here’s what I’m curious about

I see so many people chalking up the Scorch to. Anger. Like, it’s easy to see these two, clearly related events, and say “Oh, he was just mad about his grandson getting injured and then decided to kill a bunch of people”

I HAVE SEEN PEOPLE ARGUE THIS. But it’s like. Fuck. I can’t stand that. THE PUZZLE PIECES DON’T FIT

There’s a gap here. Dom loses his eye when he’s “young.” Firebrand takes custody of them. Insert unknown length of time. THEN the Scorch happens when Valk and Dom are 14. TIME HAS TO PASS IN THERE. AND I WANNA KNOW. WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED. IN THE TIME.

We really don’t know shit about this gap. Like there’s just NOTHING in there. And I’m so. Curious about it?

Even the fanart we have of Firebrand with the kids depicts Dom uninjured.

When investigating a crime (the Scorch) I feel like it makes most sense to try understanding what state of mind the person was in beforehand. But for Firebrand. It’s entirely undocumented. And I can’t help but feel like that’s on purpose?

We have the timeline unambiguous up until the injury. Firebrand has his kid. They grow up. Get married. Valk and Dom are spawned. Incident happens. Fireband gets custody. And then it just CUTS! RIGHT THERE! WHY DOES IT CUT THERE. WHAT IS THAT.

I’ve been thinking about the gap for a while. If we can’t know what happens in there, I at least wanna get the detail right

The gap between him gaining custody and the Scorch could have reasonably lasted anywhere from months to 9 years(?)

I feel like they don’t look like newborns here though, I’m GUESSING like five hence why I say. 0-9 years. But we know inphernals can walk and talk upon spawning, so take this with a grain of salt. This could be them as babies idk

One thing I THINK could take place in the gap is Firebrand working on the Bandland. We know he didn’t get to finish it before he disappeared, so he must have been working on it. Recently. Then Windforce takes over to finish it for him.

Six years ago, four years after the Scorch. Side note, this implies Windforce was the warden for 4 years and that sounds so fucking scary holy shit????

This could imply that Firebrand DID finish the Banland and HE was the warden. Hence why. Windforce didn’t FINISH the project she just took over as warden. That makes more sense than what I was thinking actually

So this gives us ONE thing during the gap. Firebrand is the warden of the Banland. BEAUTIFUL!
