it would be REALLY, REALLY FUNNY….if Roach has been the same horse for like…..fifty years…..and Geralt doesn’t notice his horse is magic, because how long do horses live? 100? This is Fine. Horses, he’s found, are surprisingly sturdy. One time a catastrophic storm sank Geralt’s ship and drowned literally everyone on board but Roach was found chilling on shore, a-okay. 

Jaskier: So I didn’t want to bring this up at first, because I didn’t want you to think I wasn’t cool with your magic horse–

Geralt: Jaskier. This is a normal horse.

Jaskier, who has seen this horse appear on rooftops, in the middle of lava fields, refusing to swim but two seconds later showing up on the other side of a lake, and one time doing this for half an hour:

Namor Week 2021

Welcome to our second annual event! We had an amazing turn out last year and I hope everyone who joins in this year has a lot of fun. 

Remember the following rules for participating: You may create any type of fan work (fan fics, fan art, song playlists, aesthetics, moodboards, podcasts, comic edits, etc.) and be sure to capture the spirit of the theme as well as include Namor or Atlantis, or Atlanteans in some way. Please be sure to have your fan works ready to post when Namor week starts (April 24 - 30) and you may either post it on your account and tag me or submit it to this blog. We accept work here or on twitter. Remember to tag your week with #namorweek so it can be found.

This year we are doing things a bit different for fanfics and are opening up a collection, so if you post to ao3 then don’t forget to add to the collection: https://archiveofourown.org/collections/NamorWeek2021

Themes:

Day 1 - Eco Warrior : Namor is a protector of the Seas and all who live there. Will you go the undersea warrior way to show him protecting his home or will you show us the business man who worked with humans using his company Oracle Inc.? Be creative!

Day 2 - Childhood : We’ve gotten a whole lot more of Namor’s childhood in the King in Black: Namor series! Depict a moment from Namor’s childhood.

Day 3 - Mythology : The myth of Atlantis has been around for a long time, so create something that could belong to it’s mythology such Gods, Goddesses, stories, and legends! Make up your own myth if you like.

Day 4 - Alternate Universe : A prompt we had last year but it’s so good we choose it again! Pick any Alternate Universe Namor to create a fan work for or make up your own.

Day 5 - Hero or Villain : As comic’s first anti-hero Namor has often been depicted as both; a hero to the undersea realm but a villain to the world above the waves. He’s teamed up with many heroes or villains in the past as well. Show us a Namor in either a heroic or villainous light.

Day 6 - Music or Fashion : We all know Namor rocks a tone of great (and not so great) outfits, so share your favorite or make up some new Atlantean fashion. Or you could choose to depict Namor + music in some way, playlists are encouraged, as are any other form of fan work.

Day 7 - Free Choice : This is a free for all! Maybe you’ll choose to finish up and post a prompt you from any of the pervious days, or maybe you’ll pick any subject you fancy to create something with.
