the hobbit is so funny bc they really go the entire book talking about the dragon but very clearly not having a plan to kill him and you think that this would come up as a major issue! they dont have a plan but obviously thorin or bilbo is going to be the one to dramatically slay the dragon at the last moment! nope. some guy who was never previously mentioned with latent bird communication abilities kills him and that’s the end of that
