i once did throw a birthday party that nobody turned up to except the girl i had a crush on at the time who used it as a chance to tell me she had started dating someone else so it was never gonna happen

I invited over a dozen people over for Thanksgiving one time and spent 6 hours preparing a feast and then not a single one showed up. At least most of them had the decency to tell me they weren't coming, but a couple were like "yeah I'll swing by soon" and then just didn't. I was too embarrassed to say anything so when asked about my Thanksgiving I said I was having so much fun with my friends that I forgot to take pictures. The truth is I was lying on the kitchen floor crying all night while the food went cold on the table.

does anybody know how to get out of bed. or be a better person
