Teen Titans… SUPER RETRO! 😎 I tried to go all out on this style. I wanted to make them feel real retro. I had a lot of fun doing this! I figured Beast Boy would be in some tiki- themed bathing suits and high socks, and both Robin and Cyborg would have some nice suits on. Starfire would look nice and sophisticated, and Raven would be a 1950’s bad girl/vamp. ;) They didn’t really have “goths” or anything in the 50’s… so the closest would either be a beatnik or some sort of vampy lady.

I wanna keep retrofying cartoons ahaha 😅 It’s really fun!

The one I did find were indeed Toy Stores but not necessarily doll stores.

We have two TRUs in town, and it’s the only place that’s a dedicated toy store for modern toys.

Sure there’s Target, and Walmart, but those are more like a couple of aisles.

TRU is where I can find unique pokemon toys, Calico Critters, those new WWE dolls, and more.

They were the only place I ever saw Novi’s at once they started disapearing(save for the odd Walmart or two), they were the only place with Space Pops, they’re where Descendants usually pop up first.

As much as I love going to Target’s welcoming toy section, there’s not many places I can go to that offer such a dedicated array of toys. Where every aisle sans Baby’s R Us side is actually toys. Where I can find out new brands, or what have you.

The other day I got a “Glimmie” I’ve never seen those anywhere else. They’re big enough to support some of the newer brands Walmart and Target don’t take a chance on. And I’m more worried about that going away than anything really.
