Happy pride month everyone!!! Have tons of fun, and don’t forget this month’s roots. This year, there have been a lot less brands supporting Pride. This might seem like a loss, but this month was never about them. It’s not about awkward Target shirts or a performative rainbow in the back of a pfp. It’s about existing loudly in a world that wants us to be silent. Go to that parade. Put up that flag. Show them that you’re here and that you stand for something. And if that’s not something you’re able to do, then just keep existing. Even if it’s a sad fact, existing is a form of resistance against oppression. So keep going. Live your life and take up space, and never let anyone take that space from you.
