That blog did a whole rant about Dan being “full of shit” that he didn’t remember something or misremembered something - that tells me that they have no fandom awareness. As fans we watch things multiple times because we’re the fans, but I would never expect Dan or Phil or remember something from a ten year old video.

My hard launch is that that blog does not like Dan or Phil. They like the parasocial version they have created in their head. Half of their posts are either dripping with scorn because D+P didn’t behave in the way they wanted or imagined they would or accusing them of lying/misinterpreting things they’ve said to push their own made up story.

This might be mean but I don’t care. That blog said Hard Launch was their first time buying tickets for anything. And I know there are so many valid reasons for getting to your 30s and never having gone to a show. But I feel like their lack of real life fan space experiences explains so much about how they behave online.

Not that blog using the fanfic discourse as a justification for them to continue to post their creepy Dan and Phil sex posts 💀
