The view after it has stopped raining 🌧

​Isn't it great to take a walk on cloudy morning –

To be able to take a walk,

To see the mountains, the foggy mountains up –

The mountains covered up with trees and grasses –

It used to be dense –

But now the trees are just scattered around –

The clouds holding up a rain,

Pregnant clouds hanging on the sky,

Giving the place a green, calm look –

I was feeling safe

And great –

And just questioning myself –

Why I didn't want to go out –

And Thankful to Go out –

Take cloudy morning walk,

​As I held him in my hands,

Watching over the crows crowing,

Trying to get a word out of him,

Just following the tone of his voice

And the pointing of his hands.

​As I held him tightly,

Knowing there'll be time,

He won't fit in my arms,

The time that I won't be able to hold him up—

​Talking with him as if he talks back,

Having the best time with him,

Eventhough he won't have the glimpsest clue of it.

Telling him the airplane got into the tree,

While it was just out of sight.

Telling him the moon follows us,

Because at that moment it was all about us...

Because we were there together,

And that was what mattered the most.

He'll certainly not remember it

We Elder Sisters,

Control our youngsters,

Project our fear or failures to them.

Try to fix our youngsters,

Make them do this and that,

Stop them from doing this and that.

See us, ourselves in them,

In our youngsters.

Try to fix them,

Get close to them, talk to them,

Share experiences,

For the part of us, ourselves,

Who never had experiences shared with ,

Who were never talked to,

Or talked to enough.

Emphasize we are there for them,

For the part of us who —

Who wanted someone to be there,

To listen,

To provide solutions,

To show us the path,

The way.

Feel the worst when our youngsters fail,

Because it is like failing again for us;

Making the same mistakes,

Losing out on the same opportunities,

Wasting everything up again —

Failing all over again.

​We Elder Sisters,

We care for our youngsters,

Not just because we love them,

Or care for them,

But also, it is the way we care for ourselves.

It is because of the way of healing ourselves,

The way of giving ourselves what we didn't have,

What we didn't get —

Yet wished for, needed to have,

Wished for, needed to get.

The reminder of ourselves,

​Yes, I let two braids fall on my face,

To slide and touch them every now and then,

Seeing and looking at the world in between them.

Yes, I roll while I am making my bed,

Just to play around and feel my bed.

Just to feel her warmth and hear her snore.

To see the branches and the leaves.

Yes, I walk up the hallway on my tippy-toes.

Yes, I laugh at the simplest things,

I smile at the birds,

And at the kids pestering their elders,

Wandering freely.

Yes, I hug my knees,

Yes, I do things certain ways

To feel a certain way,

​Some days feel like a week,

And some even like a month or a year—

All sorts of emotions piled up,

All sorts of unfinished stories brought up,

All fears and worries fed up,

All problems & stressors faced up —

A day so long

with its own seasons,

with many plots

and character developments,

A day so long

with many places and times,

A day so long

with different levels and situations,

A day so long where you could feel it all

Sort it all—

Not a raindrop striking the earth
