I wouldn’t let it bother you @thearcalian. Commie loving lefties aka progressives aka tankies do so many mental gymnastics and huff their own farts to the point that I am pretty sure that the vast majority have some kind of brain damage.
I get capitalism isn’t perfect with the pay to play politics and the cronyism born in board rooms where the focus is exclusively “line go up at the expense of everything”. It’s an imperfect system and I get the anger against it but instead of trying to reform and improve what is objectively a better system to live under, they just wanna rip it up and go to communism.
There are oceans of bodies, usually mass murdered in the millions by their own government, wherever you find communism. It is a system that simply does not work outside of a lecture hall.
And for those who shriek that I must be a nazi for not liking communism, I’ll point out that nazi and communism are pretty much, if not the same thing. The nazi party was the National Socialist Workers’ Party.
It was a single party rule by the National Socialist German Workers Party aka Nazi party, enforced with a secret police and paramilitary, the Gestapo, all major industries were state owned and controlled, the population was fed a steady diet of propaganda and had a strict enforcement of government censorship and of course we can’t forget the ghettos and concentration camps for Jews, political prisoners, homosexuals, the disabled and many others deemed undesirable or problematic.
That is a part-for-part direct clone with what the USSR had with the Politburo as the single party apparatus, the KGB functioning as the paramilitary secret police force, state controlled media and propaganda, state controlled industries at all levels, and state run gulags and internment camps for political prisoners and all manner of undesirables in Siberia and many other places where few, if any, ever returned from.
The USSR also banned homosexuality/LGBT rights for most of its existence and was punishable by 5 years in a Soviet prison so don’t go waving your pride flags in Soviet Russia unless you want a fast ticket to the gulag. To this day, modern Russia is one of the least progressive nations in Europe thanks to the persistent culture created by this policy. I raise this point because it amuses me to watch tankies and progressives adorned with rainbow everything try to justify a system of government that openly persecuted their very identity as one they wanna live under. TDS is gonna TDS I suppose but moving on.
In conclusion, no, progressives and tankies. If you support communism and have a raging hate-boner for Jews and Israel, you’re way more in line politically with nazis than I’ll ever be and you’ll ever admit. Regardless of how you wanna frame commies being on the left and nazis being on the right, they’re two sides of the same coin. I would put both on the left because they’re fundamentally and functionally damn near identical. That is a fact, backed up by some of the darkest chapters in humanity’s history.
History, that it seems a lotta young kids these days either don’t know or selectively wanna pick and choose from like a buffet and ignore the literal tens of millions who died at the hands of communism and socialism. Sorry @thearcalian but you and I just can’t fix the stupid in the comment section from the people who say such things because that’s willful ignorance.
No amount of us preaching about it is gonna change someone with a hardened heart.
