Bad news! Bunny belongs to next door neighbor. They keep him in the backyard and he keeps digging his way out I guess. Doesn’t sound like he’s protected from our ample foxes in the neighborhood there either! Giving him back since it’s a bad move to steal a pet from your literal next door neighbor but if this keeps happening…. Watch me

Okay gf returned him last night while I was at work and situation was much better than we thought, he is just a sneaky bun and they’re still learning to bunny proof, he’s jumping through a hole in the mesh of their enclosed patio/sunroom and they’re going to replace with chicken wire. I am low key bummed out we had to give him back though!

Put old man in warm sun. no problem ever in warm sun because good view and audience can see long speech. Today is the anniversary of finding my mom dead (she died the day prior) and after finding and returning the bunny yesterday, I came home from work this morning and immediately two puppies ran up to me…. Escaped from the neighbor’s yard. Thank goodness I was there bc in the time I went inside to a grab my gf to help, they ran half a block away. This week certainly has a theme! What does it all mean.

The most amazing patient is in the ED.... this isn't the exact name or case obviously due to privacy but it's like if a guy named Robert Horse came to the hospital for swallowing a bag of heroin. Or a girl named Crystal shoving a bag of meth up her vagina. Like who can blame you the fates already demanded it

Today is the 3rd anniversary of my mom’s death so in the morning after work gf and I stayed up to have sparkling wine and cinnamon rolls in the garden in honor of her… on the way out we saw the bunny my brother mentioned seeing a little while back. Caught him or her. Tentatively named it Genie in honor of my mom’s middle name Jeanne (which she hated). Now she is inside absolutely terrified of us and her new brother but she’s not gonna get eaten by the foxes now. Soon she will discover that the freeze dried banana in her enclosure is edible and she will start to enjoy her new life.

#but my real fear is… are there more domesticated rabbits in the neighborhood. we can def only rescue one but they’re not like cats #that can live as ferals they will die. she is young which makes me worried for siblings parents etc
