Another piece from the summer of 2018, that’s still one of my favorites. I painted this while renting an apartment in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia and the background was inspired by an alleyway I lived about a mile from at the time.

Been going through some old art for a thing and I came across a few pieces I still like that I'd thought I'd reshare, starting with this one from my first solo show in 2018 (so long ago! 😭)

More recent-ish warm ups: some little what-I-wore mouse-fits (an idea my dear friend Taryn came up with that I absolutely adore). These are all gouache paintings that I touched up a bit digitally because the originals are only 2" tall

Some little fan arts I made for my dear friend Alina Tysoe's AMAZING graphic novel My Sister the Werebeast. These are the main characters' parents, and I just adored them 💛 The cave is part of the story, but the dragons are my own silly invention because I was curious what creatures they might find down there and for some reason my brain thought...literary dragons? I dunno! But I can't recommend this graphic novel enough, it's hilarious and heartwarming and like everything Alina makes, just so awesome. So go check it out!
