To actually answer the question, since 5.7 was a new caliber, no blank manufacturers were making it. So yes, it was cheaper and more feasible to unload the live rounds to make blanks.

I have heard of black people warning their kids that the race of a police officer is cop and you should not expect solidarity from them. The same applies to other types of minorities.

The sexuality of a police officer is cop.

The gender of a police officer is cop.

When you become the enforcer and protector of capital, you are making the deal to be slightly favored by the system over others like you, in exchange for being its servant. Your solidarity is with the system that you serve, even if it hates you.

If you want solidarity with those the system hates, you cannot be the system's servant and defender.

Gonna start saying "I'm disappointed in you" to the people who get on the bus at the back door to avoid paying. Especially if they then walk towards the front of the bus blocking the aisle for people who got on at the front.

As a tall person I need to have a quick rant.

I have long legs. I walk fast. Sometimes when walking in a group I notice. Sometimes I don't. What bothers me is that when I do slow down to stay with the rest of the group, they then also slow down. So now I either have to either slow down even more, or stay ahead of the group again.

Watching RWBY v7 and I'm at the Ace Ops vs RWBY fight.

First of all the whole "we're the best huntsmen in atlas" "you were, until you trained us." Is such a great moment.

But also Rwby really picked their opponents well. Ruby new she could bait hot tempered Harriet into doing something wreckless. Weiss knew Marrow couldn't use his quirk on both her and her summon if they stayed far enough apart. And Yang and Blake have much better teamwork than Elm and Vine because the Ace Ops don't view each other as friends, just coworkers.

I wonder if during training they studied the aceops knowing that this fight might come eventually.
