not even on purpose... one time i was looking over some of my old old art of my first OCs and it dawned on me that well... in terms of dynamics (and personalities and to a lesser extent looks), my current sweetie pie babygirl OCs are just straight up copy pasted from the stuff i was drawing as a teenager LOL. don't fix it if it ain't broke i guess? so i consider my first OCs to simply be previous incarnations of my current ones, so there is a broader sense of continuity there. which i've also amplified by bringing back some of the secondary OCs from my adolescence, since they already work well with my current OCs (who are just reincarnations of my original old ones.)

i must be some kind of bad crime fiction book super genius because i keep accidentally mentally skipping ahead because the characters are behind me when it comes to solving this endless 500 page thing. i thought we already knew that. how come you guys are catching up to me 50 pages later. terrible writing. did i tell you guys about the delightfully ridiculous cast of characters. there are two detective albino sisters and one of them is a genius hacker. also one guy cheated on his lady with a murderess and let her fully escape custody. as a 'fuck you' though, his ex-gf lied and kept the fact that her child was his daughter hidden from him. also theres an old guy who wears exclusively beige linen suits and smokes giant cigars constantly.
