okay also today is my day of extreme humbling vulnerability because my friend is coming over and i'm making her watch The Good The Bad And The Ugly (1963) and that movie is like well i won't even start. oh my god i can hear her at the door.

i should paint my toenails red again i did that once maybe six years ago or so. it was pretty funny. a funny joke that basically only i get but that's okay.

the difficulty is that i want desperately to wear my awesome striped socks but it actually goes directly against my principles regarding footwear in the summer (or any season warm enough) to wear anything but my shitty sandals when i leave the house. i only wear socks and shoes when strictly necessary. i don't think i want to subject myself to having to do that on such a beautiful summer day when my feet could be so free and happy in my loose floppy sandals. i should get a pair of flipflops again too. one of the finest human inventions.

i want to get another nerite snail because they are so cute and perfect but i don't knoww. they just die in my tank like i can't keep them alive... 3 have died in there already..

my future wife will think my striped socks are incredibly charming and perfect. she can't also wear stripes though she has to have her own thing. stripes are my thing get your own pattern... um... maybe like houndstooth? i don't know. figure it out...

now what i really need is a stripey button down. that's what i really really really need. i have button downs with stripes, but they are vertical, not horizontal. I LOVE HORIZONTAL STRIPES. i've always loved them even as a child. i had like at least three stripey sweaters that i wore so much as a kid that they became sort of defining character outfits for me. lol.

okay now its time for my favourite part of the evening: episode of ESCAPE! the radio show on, while i play spider solitaire in bed YAYYYY

i'm actually very excited to start working for real as a school janitor like i am so ready put me to work.. give me tasks...
