WIP Wednesday! Tagged by @theveiledaspect! Thank you so much. 💘 Nothing quite new at the moment - wrapping up the last bits of my last queue and I also have my little personal pieces for @thesixthplaneteer I'm working on as well! My next step is doing the last of quick sketches and then my final queue before summer break!

i do have a lot more on the works, even something i can't show yet. but even if lately i feel a little art blocked i'm getting happy from drawing again :]

Actually managing to do this on time this week, how wild. Enjoy the beginning of the smut I am working on now ^-^ it starts slow but I am looking forward to the climax so to speak.

Tucked in the glass corner of The Greenhouse was a well-placed booth. It offered great views of the city behind and the bar around it, while being hidden by cleverly placed foliage and decorations. Annalise usually commandeered this booth when she could, and tonight was no different. She was waiting for Virgil tonight and feeling a slight bit of worry for what she was going to ask him. It isn’t exactly… taboo to ask to learn the powers of the other clans… but some guard them more jealously than others.

Her fingers tapped against her crystal stem wine glass, eyes idly scanning the other patrons of the establishment. There was a slightly warmed snifter of blood waiting next to her on the table. She had found out a few years into their acquaintance what her Ventrue coteriemate's particular feeding restriction was, and it had shocked her in a way that she had yet to share with him. It was of course still a sore spot that Annalise was at one point slated to be the childe of Virgil, but someone had changed that in order to allow Zeke to embrace her, and the way they slotted together sometimes put more salt to the wound. Their feeding restrictions were another such matter. When Annalise had asked Virgil what his particular taste was, he had informed her that he was only able to feed off of the physically fit… to which Annalise had to hide her shock. She shared the same restriction, having found out the hard way that feeding off those outside of this demographic was painful and embarrassing after she had gotten rid of the blood and felt only hungrier afterwards. She kept that similarity to herself, lamenting occasionally what could have been.

The elevator doors’ subtle chime sounded, barely audible over the din of conversation thanks to Annalise’s awareness, and Virgil stepped out into the hall next to the host desk. Annalise licked her lips as she watched him speak lowly to the hostess who was standing there. His blonde hair was perfectly styled, green eyes piercing as they swept across the bar. He was wearing a three-piece suit, ebony black and lovingly tailored to fit his frame. The soft tap of his loafers sounded as he was led to her corner, and she locked eyes with him through the foliage, his pearly white teeth flashed in a small smile.

“Virgil,” Annalise offered in greeting, gesturing to the round booth and snifter in invitation, “thank you for coming to meet with me.”

Turns out Virgil and Annalise have had the same feeding restriction this whole time and it was entirely unintentional on both mine and my husband's parts. Which does only make it more... tragic(weird?) that Annalise was embraced by Zeke instead of Virgil.
