All of us dumb gay fucks love Queer Eye so much, because it’s the closest thing we’ve ever seen to Mental Stability. Like, these bitches are teaching us how to cook, and how to dress like we didn’t just roll out of a 6 month Depression Session, and I think that’s truly A Gift. Oh, also, I think we all just want Karamo to look into our eyes and be like, “God, you’re a mess, but I’ll be damned if ur not Valid”, like,,, I’m in tears 

i think my absolute favorite part of queer eye so far is when antoni finds out that that guy drinks warm pickle juice and you can literally see him just fucking astral project into the next plane of existence before it cuts to the next scene

fab5-esque commentary has effectively replaced a lot of my shitty internal dialogue??? like, the more i watch queer eye, the more inclined i am to think “i should wear an outfit that makes me feel confident today” or “i should prepare a meal instead of making ramen again” or “i should tidy my room” or “i shouldn’t put myself down for being vulnerable.” not to say that i don’t still have depression and shit, but inundating myself with media that encourages positivity and self-love has helped a lot and i wish we had more shows like this tbh

So I work at a pretty progressive company so at t the last meeting I brought a click counter and I clicked it every time a man cut someone off. I used a pen pad to keep track of the women cutting someone off. Because it happened twice. Both times after they’d been cut off and were trying to finish a sentence. Eventually the men noticed the clicking and would pause and look around. At the end of the meeting I told them the results. In a one hour meeting men had cut someone off a total of 236 times. Two hundred and thirty six.
