I'm just going to do this now, I can't bear to see my pet like thisš I'm selling my old artworks so that I can send him to the vet for surgery. I'm also short. As for those who have good hearts, especially the pet lovers, I am asking for a little help, whether it is small or big, I will accept it with all my heart.š
It's Kiyo. Kind and gentle cat. He was run over earlier because I don't know what ran over him. š I don't know if he was run over this morning or this morning, I just looked for him earlier to feed him until I saw him lying under a tree

"How to have your human miss a day at work - an essay by Ahsoka"
Go over your human early in the morning and start purring, while they are distracted in awe by your cuteness, slowly place yourself over their chest and put your paws on the sides of their neck and start sleeping, if you perceive the human trying to move, just move a little tightening your arma around their neck, keep the position untile they surrender and take a day off

Having finally the chance to show our recostructive work of a woman dressed according to Roman fashion in I sec a.C.
The Tunic and stola are made according to Lex Cornelia, a law that required from unmarried woman to dress without bright colours.
Now to figure out what to do with such a small amount of yarn >.<
I'm very happy with the colours but want to figure out how to dye things so I get less obvious barberpolling when plying, I prefer a more marled look but that might just come down to blending
Thank you so much for the advices given so far, as far as it goes what I'm most worried about is the fact that until now she hasn't eaten anything and for the imminent night, she comes from a group of three siblings (the other two have already been sent to other families) and she seems unconsolable about it (the first family sent her back for this reason).
Sadly I won't be able to give her a playmate š not enough funds (and space I'm afraid)
Totally understandable. Poor thing, she probably does miss them. Where do you have her now? Like, loose in the home vs confined to one room?
Oh, the poor darling, rejected by one family who didn't give her the time and space she needs... ā¤ļø it's so wonderful you get to be her forever home
Now, as far as not eating goes: are you sure? By which I mean, have you weighed/otherwise measured the food or can tell for certain it hasn't been touched? She may be sneaking out to get it while you're not looking/away/asleep. If she is not eating anything--if in doubt, call your vet. It is likely just the combination of multiple stressful moves on top of losing her littermates, but anorexia/not eating can be a sign of illness/injury. This is a good resource (please don't panic reading it, if there's no other signs of illness it is likely just stress):
A cat not eating is a concerning observation. Ongoing refusal to eat doesn't mean you have a fussy cat; it means there is an issue that need
^The bit about checking teeth is so true. My poor cat was eating poorly for a while, we discovered rotten teeth, and after having the painful teeth removed she got her appetite right back.
To help with de-stressing your kitten: contain her in a small room, like a bathroom, with plenty of dark spaces to hide in (cat carrier draped with a blanket or towel is a good one), keep the lights off, provide plenty of food and water, and *provided there's no other signs of illness* leave her alone for 12-24 hours. You can peek in occasionally, but she needs dark & quiet to calm down. If she likes being petted (purrs when you pet her) you could sit with her and pet her--just keep in mind you need to be quiet/calm while you're with her during this period. (Even just normal bodily functions can be startling. My cat was terribly alarmed the first time she heard me sneeze). You could also try providing a stuffed animal and/or heated rice sock (literally pour rice in a sock, tie it off, microwave it a few minutes, and it becomes a warm little radiator kitten can snuggle with if she's cold).
And back to food:
Assuming she's not eating at all, 1) do you know what she was eating at the shelter (I presume?) or the previous family's home? 2) are you feeding her the same thing? It's ok if you don't know or can't feed the same food, but it means you'll need to offer a variety of delectables for your kitten to try.
If you've got space for it, offer wet/canned as well as dry/kibble, and see which option if any she prefers. You can also set out a bit of tuna or other stinky fish--cats have a poor sense of smell so the strong scent can help raise their appetite. If she's not going for any of those, a high calorie treat like a churu stick may help. She is probably a bit too old for force feeding, but you can try smearing a bit of food on her lips--she'll lick it off just to get clean, and the flavor/swallowing might remind she's hungry/wants to eat.
Other options: cook some plain chicken breast, no salt/seasoning, and offer it cut into small cubes and shredded. If you have a blender you can make a chicken smoothie--cooked chicken breast + maybe some tuna juice. If you don't mind handling raw meat, you can also offer raw (very fresh, boneless) chicken, either in chunks or ground up. Some cats are very particular about flavor/texture, so unfortunately their people have to do a lot of food trials to see which ones work. You can try other meats, beef, pork (only cooked), chicken liver, etc. Stick with it, hopefully within the next day or two she will start to get curious and want to explore.
*No kitten playmate: totally fine not having space/budget, just be very very diligent about not letting her play with your hands/feet/hair/etc. Never punish her if she tries--just move away from her and offer another toy.
She is completely free to go around, and her second night she was much calmer, I didn't hear her meowing, but somehow she understood ho ro climb on my bed and slept beside me
About eating, yesterday she ate only if I showed her the food (quite sure, I work from home and, even if she kept her distance, she never moved from the nearest soft thing), she definitely prefers wet food, but today (she started going eating alone, yay!) she took also some dry food... She definitely likes fish, had some boiled cod and shared with her some unseasoned pieces, and she finished them.
Today she is exploring a lot, seems more vivacious than yesterday, and finally didn't insist in staying in the same room as me. She is testing where she can climb and sometimes she tries to jump (with my heart attacks if I hear her falling). Understood that correct use of the litter means a prize and provides to look for my attention each time she uses it. She is still disdaining toys... I think she has a bit of everything (yes, she is and will be spoiled rotten), probably the only things missing for now is a fishing rod (are they called this way in english?), something with catnip and something that gives prizes or makes noises, but they are (nearly) all on the way.
Ok, I was planning to update when we hit one month, but today she groomed me for the first time, and I got a bit too emotioal šššš
Ahsoka (I noted that I never wrote her name!) is more and more a feisty and playful kitten, I failed miserably to not let her play with my hands, but she seems to manage bites and scratches fine (the only times she actually hurt me was when she got too excited on a prize and got my finger with the snack XD).
She is learning fast what she can and can't do and started trying to steal my food (or at least started to ask to share some).
Also she seems icredibly affectionate (I thought tht for something like this there would be needed longer time): she refuses to not be in the same room as me and, despite and abundance of beds just for her , she still loves to sleep against or on me, and takes bad the idea of me leaving for commissions or if I have to do a working day outside, in this case she spends the whole period of my absence buried under the clothes in my laundry chest.
This makes me worried for next week: I'll need to be away for the weekend, visiting family and attending an event in Pompeii, I hoped to stay away only from Saturday night to Sunday afternoon, instead because some tutoring I need to do with my father I'll have to stay away since Friday... My neighbours promised me to check on her and feed her, but I'm so worried and feel so guilty to leave her alone so suddenly for so long, I wish I could take her with me, but my parents hate pets (and I confess I haven't told them yet...)
You know those "if this gets 50k notes I'll xyz"? I don't believe in those. Because I could say something crazy like: if this gets 20k notes, I'll write my next book. And then it'll get zero notes. I do not believe.

The first night was... Weird. As foreseen suddenly she started meowing desperately until I decided to stay in the same room as her (she refused to move), I was sitting on the floor as far as I could and she calmed down and decided to climb on me and sleep there. When I tried to put her down and go to sleep she was back meowing.
And that's how I spent the night sleeping on the floor as my cat's bed (yes, she has plenty of proper beds and places that she decided were worth sleeping in).
Now she's back avoiding me (stille meowing as soon as I go to another room), but at least she ate nearly all her wet food for the morning...
