The Time Has Come To Say Goodbye.
I will be deleting this blog on Monday, Dec 9.
I have had a great time on tumblr, and I've met some wonderful people here, including someone who has become a dear friend in real life.
It's been a lot of fun, and very educational, but it's time for me to move on. Great changes are happening in my life, and I'm actually making plans for a future I thought I had long given up on.
So, I'm off on a new adventure.

Important Information For Nevada Voters!

So, there are nearly 1400 ballots already cast in Nevada that need to have issues with the signature corrected (curing).
If you know any voters in Nevada, who need to do this, remind them to do so promptly!

YES, you have a right to vote. YES you can ask for a provisional ballot.
But if there is a problem, please listen. We WANT you to vote. We want to help you. Sometimes you're in the wrong polling location. Where I live, you have to surrender a mail in ballot to vote on the machines. We have a process to follow to make sure voting is done correctly.
Nobody wants to get yelled at. We will be under a microscope, and want to make sure this election is done right.

I think Empathy is a mammal thing.
Humans are the only animal capable of empathy who deliberately blunts it, and treats it as a weakness.
Mammals aren't the only onimals who express empathy. Look at corvids. Even tardigrades hug each other.
