i think my n1 issue with any mindset around the humans are (malicious term/synonym) by nature is that it is sooo clearly a means of desensitizing people to the horrible things certain people/groups do

when you start saying it's only natural/expected for people to act a certain way the same way that people treat the "humans are evil" dogma do -> you completely erase the weight of horrific atrocities. by more or less dumbing them down to a "granted" because "humans are like that" -> which is not and never will be good

it's especially stupid because it takes away from the fact many horrible things come from mostly circumstances too. which then brings people to just ENTIRELLYYYY ignore the changes which could've allowed us to avoid these horrific things -> If you treat it as if people will just naturally snap one day or go about doing horrific things because "humans do that" you take away from the fact that (8 times out of 10) circumstance is the thing that dictates them arriving at that conclusion & following actions -> which means you're then NEVER going to do anything to reduce the amount of people who choose that conclusion, because you're never going to do anything about getting rid of the pipeline that LEADS to themmmmm.
