No, I poured it down the sink.” Andrew stays there for another long three minutes in silent, until Neil hangs up and finally notices him. “Want some?” Neil asks, completely unfazed—as if he hadn’t made it specifically for Andrew. “What’s the occasion?” Andrew asks. “Thursday,” Neil replies easily. The raised eyebrow he gets in return makes it clear that answer isn’t going to cut it. “I wanted to try,” Neil adds after a second. “You don’t see Bee that often, and you don’t have time for it, so… here. Is it okay?” he asks, watching as Andrew takes a testing sip after adding two more spoons of powder. Andrew gives a short nod and walks off toward the bedroom with the cup.
