Do you guys think Aaron would get slightly horrified at how he almost (well he probably did) destroyed his body because of the drugs? Like imagine him studying to become a doctor and he read about all these health problems that drug addicts have

Now I'm imagining Aaron being super paranoid over every possible symptom of permanent damage/lasting consequences of his drug use. Like headache? He's given himself permanent brain damage that will eventually prevent him from practicing medicine. Random muscle spasm? Same thing. He forgets something simple like where he left his keys or how to spell an easy word, is it standard forgetfulness because he's tired? Or is it because of the drugs and its only going to get worse from here.

Do I think Andrew and Neil would (very far in the future, possibly after retirement from exy) would get matching tattoos? Yes, yes I do. What do I think they would be you ask? Well t would be something small but significant, like the others initials or an important date, hidden somewhere only they know.

i agree AND i think they would give each other their tattoos!! mostly bc andrew doesn't like being touched and wants to show how much he trusts neil and bc neil would love to have a physical marking that came from love and not violence!! <3

when Andrew is feeling low/anxious/irritated or scared, well enough to stay in the same room as Neil, but not well enough to ask for comfort himself — Neil understands, but he wants to help ease some of that tension, so he starts quietly. first, he catches the hem of Andrew’s t-shirt in his fingers, a silent way of letting Andrew know he’s there and asking whether he’s allowed any closer. when no objection comes, Neil takes that as permission. he steps forward and presses himself lightly against Andrew’s back, resting his forehead between his shoulder blades. then he stays still, listening to the steady rhythm of Andrew’s breathing, feeling his back rise and fall with every inhale. It works because Andrew still gets the reassurance without feeling exposed. Neil isn’t looking directly at him in a moment of vulnerability. all Andrew feels is the weight of Neil’s forehead against his back and the warmth of his body behind him: far enough away not to force eye contact. close enough to remind him he isn’t alone. It gives Andrew space to recover without feeling like he’s “losing face” in front of Neil. sometimes, when Neil is sure it will be welcome, he presses a brief kiss between Andrew’s shoulder blades through the fabric of his t-shirt before settling back against him again, cheek resting lightly against his back. and then he waits. he waits until Andrew feels steady enough to pull away and gather himself, or until he turns around on his own and makes his way back to bed. to Neil.

Neil steps up behind Andrew and loosely wraps an arm around his waist while Andrew is busy putting things away, lost in his own thoughts. “Hey…” he murmurs against the nape of Andrew’s neck. the kind of deceptive “hey” that immediately tells you a second of affection isn’t going to be enough. but Andrew keeps working, determined not to get distracted by Neil trailing after him, nuzzling against his neck and rubbing the top of his head against his shoulder. eventually, Neil starts leaning more and more of his weight onto him, slowly forcing Andrew to bend forward under the pressure. “It’s not funny. Calm down,” Andrew protests, sounding far too unbothered for someone who supposedly wants Neil to stop. all he gets in return is muffled laughter and the unmistakable curve of a smile against his skin. “What exactly?” comes from behind, unclear and overly dramatic. a second later, Neil finally succeeds in dragging them both down onto the bed, trying to gather Andrew beneath him, fully aware, of course, that Andrew would never let that happen so easily. the next moment, Andrew catches Neil’s wrist and pushes back: their positions shift almost instantly. Neil doesn’t even bother resisting. he lets them tumble through the chaos of it, passing control back and forth in a whirlwind of playful wrestling until Andrew finally catches him for good and pins him down. strong arms wrap around Neil’s waist and chest, holding him firmly in place. Andrew can hear Neil breathing harder beside him, their brief bout of fooling around has left them both a little breathless. then there it is again—a short laugh. Neil tries to twist around so he can look at Andrew, but Andrew only tightens his hold, keeping him exactly where he is. “You still haven’t calmed down,” he says quietly against Neil’s ear. the words are calm enough, but Neil can feel the contradiction pressed against his back: Andrew’s heart is beating far too hard for someone pretending to be unaffected. if Andrew had really wanted him to stop, he could have pushed him away long before Neil managed to bend him in half and drag him toward the bed. or by firmly saying “no”. but Andrew hadn’t. Instead, he’d chosen to stay close. now he keeps Neil tucked against his chest, burying his face in Neil’s hair and pressing a few firm kisses to the nape of his neck, already fully aware that Neil’s entire plan to end up wrapped tightly in Andrew’s arms — had worked perfectly. even if he’d gone about it in the most shameless way possible.
