Hmm I hope I got the question correctly. “Go on about” seems to mean “start” or “approach” something? Thats what mr google told me owo;; I think I started originally when I was like 7. I drew a cat, and my mom liked it, so I drew more cats www and I spiced it up with making them from different cultures in their traditional clothes, like cat princesses www Then I really liked inuyasha and wanted to be able to draw him, and later on I got a “how to draw manga” book and drew my friends in animu style wwwAnd then in school a big chunk of my friends was drawing so we would continuously check each others’ art out and sometimes make mini collabs. Oof then this place called “sketchfu” man I drew so much there (why did it get deleted ahhs). I guess thats kinda what kept me going: having specific things iI want to draw and then drawing with friends at similar skill level and watching us all improve uwu I think its really important to draw and not think about “how good I can get when I improve” but focus on thinking stuff like “man I like this thing, i’m going to attempt to draw this thing”. Because in the end it’s all about having fun, it can definitely get hard to draw things right at times, but the outcome is to enjoy it uwu
