My new supervisor (a well-meaning fellow of straight and cis inclination) wants to find me a patrol partner and keeps trying to reassure me that he will do his best to make sure they’re not someone transphobic and I don’t know a gentle way to tell him “I don’t care if you assign me a bigot because I’m very good at what I do, and if they can’t suck it up for the sake of the job then they will not survive here”
