I wrote a fic about this a while back but it was really short. I want to rewrite it, but for now I’ll share my concept. ⚠️ DRV3 Spoilers!
I think that Keebo’s differences between pre-game and in-game show hypocrisy, in a way.
Say that Tsumugi was telling the truth when she said that every student had to audition to enter Danganronpa. Pre-game Keebo would have had to say outright that they wanted to be a robot, as shown when pre-game Shuichi states that he would be the ultimate detective.
But when they get what they want, and end up as a robot during the killing game, they spend the whole time trying to prove how human they are. Well,,,,, in a way. What we see of them is that they want to be recognized for their innovative technology while also being recognized as human and no different from their classmates.
So human Keebo wants to be a robot, and robot Keebo wants to be both human and robot..hmm……
