idfk why Shuichi would ever get into speedrunning but it'd be fun if Kokichi was and had a rival in it for gay reasons
actually we need more saiouma viddygame rivals in general i think. i swear Kokichi would be a legend in gaming communities, like he's that one cryptid player everyone makes reference to cause he's so wild if there wasn't video evidence of some of the shit he did they wouldn't believe it was real
maybe that can be paired with the saiouma rival speedrunners idea- have Shuichi try to figure out how the hell Kokichi does some of the shit he does, and in the process of trying to crack the code behind his unhinged tactics he ends up giving Kokichi a run for his money on leader boards and shit and he decides Shuichi looks like the most fun competition he's had in a long time
god i love aus where Shuichi just trying to comprehend Kokichi results in Kokichi getting 100x more weird cause Shuichi's actions retroactively give him something worth while to chew on, they are mic feedback to me <3
