Since the Marinette Salt Prompt blog isn't gonna be run anymore, I decided to make this sideblog where I share the Marinette Salt prompts I submitted and any future ones!!

The name of this blog actually comes from one of the prompts I submitted: Selfish Wishing, iirc. It's the name of the blog Adrien and Felix run together.

Okay, the thing is, the situation was handled quickly. Things could have been so much worse.

I don't feel right saying "yes, everyone besides Adrien and Lila were grounded." or "no, not everyone got grounded."

Do I think they got in trouble for believing messages about girl they didn't know? Yes. Absolutely. Do I think they deserved to be punished?...it depends.

YEEEEEEAAAAHHH!!!

So the basis of this idea is that Marinette isn't the one who switches classes herself: it's her parents deciding to do the right thing and take their daughter away from her 'bullies' (it was one thing if it was just Chloé. They would take ot seriously if it was the whole class).

As a result, instead of just switching classes, Marinette is sent to another school in Paris. Initially, Marinette is ok with this (she's not so ok about leaving Adrien even if he betrayed her)

It turns out this is a private school. It is significantly tougher than FDP, and has no mercy on delinquent behaviors. Marinette is trailing behind badly here, being a straight C student. Her new classmates are already acquainted with eachother and are in-fact the clique-ish mentality Marinette accused all her former friends of being. (In actuality, they're all prepping for college and simply have no time for gossip)

Marinette cannot charm them in anyway. Not with sob stories or with any sewn clothes.

'That's nice, Marinette, but I'm not listening to you blather on about a lying girl.'

'Did you study for the test or not?... you were busy with what? Adrien Agreste? How would YOU know Adrien personally?'

'Sorry Marinette, I've got work.... Yes, I do! How else am I to earn a spot for college prep? You really need to think about the future. One that isn't tied to your fantasy with Adrien.'

I love that Marinette's new classmates aren't giving her any sort of attention, but at the same time aren't bullying her.

They just have their own shit to do, and it's ironic that she's probably interrupting their study time to tell them stories of the things she experienced or the people she new, some of which probably sounds fake.

If only there was another girl like that. One Marinette accused of being a liar (she was right about that, but still).

Because I think Marinette should take a deep look in the mirror and realize she is becoming her new school's Lila Rossi.

The difference?

1. She is telling the truth (her version of the truth anyways).

2. No one is accusing her outright of being a liar, but at the same time, not everyone believes her about the things she says.

and

then she woke up the day she got the earrings, but their is one teeny tiny difference,

Marinette is now a five year old,

While everyone else is the same age as the original timeline,

She ended up making the biggest loudest tantrum because,

1. Master fu would never give a miraculous to someone far too young.

2. Everyone would never take a five year old seriously,

3. And worst of all Adrian would never date her,

She made such a huge tantrum she ended up being the first Akuma instead of ivan,

A fitting beautiful universal punishment for someone who acts like a child

Well well well, you should of thought of a better wish Marinette. :/

I mean, "start everything from the very beginning"??

Adrien under amok influence and Marinette are about to get married, but Lila objects because she thinks Marinette doesn't deserve him. They start a quiz over what he likes and dislikes, but question after question Adrien notices that Marinette doesn't really know him, but Lila whom he hasn't seen in ages, for some reason knows his deepest desires. Suddenly his high school sweetheart is not so attractive compared to a former coworker because at least she noticed Him, the real Him.

After extensive lying and gasligting, manipulation and slight usage of the rings Adrien "forgives" Marinette for her lying about his father and everything. The word "Forgive" still makes him angry even if he doesn't know why, all thoughts are so cloudy suddenly...

Then the wedding happens!

Everyone is so happy, and Adrien is too! (Even if he hates everything, from the date chosen, to guests and how they are seated) But Marinette loves it and that's what matters.

They say their vows and just as the priest finishes saying "If anyone is opposed to this union, let them speak now, or hold their peace forever." the door burts open revealing Lila Rossi screaming "I OBJECT!!"

She changed her haircut, and the clothing style, but that is still Lila. They all changed as years went by, yet he thought she would let her anger go since their school years.

"What is the meaning of this?!"

"You don't deserve him!! He should be with me!!" Adrien couldn't help but sigh. This was supposed to be his happiest day, but happiness is too much to ask for in his case. And does she still have a crush on him?

"Yes, I do!! If anyone You don't deserve him, so stop ruining our happiness and leave!"

He hoped there wouldn't be a fight. Or that there WOULD be a fight and he can leave this mess sooner.

"Marinette Dupain-Cheng, you don't know a single thing about Adrien Agreste." Now that was an accusation that made even him turn towards the two women.

"You wish I didn't."

"What is his favourite color?" Is this what will be the reason for him not being married? Seriously?

"It's red."

"Wrong! He likes black the most." ... He did like black more than red. Not that it really mattered.

"Fine, let's assume you're right, what is his favourite food?"

"Passion fruit candy."

"Ha! Wrong! It's my mom's quiche!" Madame Cheng's quiche IS very good, but he knows that passion fruit is his weakness.

It goes on as Adrien starts to think about it all. Did his fiancée really know him that well? And why does Lila know? How does she know?

"What is my favourite movie?" He interrupted.

All eyes were on him now, Marinette looked slightly hurt and Lila surprised, but he needed to know.

"Your Name! Because it's about true love!" Marinette said as if it was as easy as two plus two.

"Solitude, because it was your mother's first ever film." She couldn't have known that, she couldn't...

"My father. How do I feel about him?"

"You loved him because he's your father, but you are furious because he never showed a fraction of love your mother got to you."

"Lies! Your father was a hero and you miss him dearly."

Adrien took a step forward.

"Do I like day or night?"

"Day, because it's full of life."

"Night because it's free of expectations." Another step.

"How do I feel about playing piano?"

"You like it because your parents taught you to play."

"You hate it because you didn't choose it. You were forced to play it." A step closer towards the two women.

"What's my favourite animal."

"Hamster! That's why we want to get one!"

"Black cat. You can relate because of your rotten luck." Don't talk to my husband like that! He's not your husband yet, idiot! Adrien didn't pay attention to them bickering and and simply stepped forward. Only he was closer to Lila and Marinette noticed.

"A-Adrien?"

"What is my favourite hobby?" He asked while looking at Lila only.

"Gardening." She answered with a smile.

"... Reading?" His fianceee said unsure.

"Favourite game?"

"That shooter you play with Nino a lot?"

"Titanfall, second part." Another answer, and he walked towards the one who actually knows him.

"...What the hell is happening?" Alya asked in disbelief.

"There's always a bigger fish. It seems there's someone who payed much more attention to my bro because her every answer is right."

"How many kids do I want?" Marinette came closer to him, but he looked only in golden brown eyes.

"Three, that's what we agreed on?"

"It's a trick question. After what your father did to you, you are afraid of becoming like him, so the answer is none." He was standing right in front of her now and Marinette's dreams and hopes were falling apart one question at a time.

"ENOUGH! You won't steal him from me, spots on!" Gasps were heard through out the hall, even Adrien turned to her in shock, but then suddenly a second flash brightened him, this one much closer.

"Dark wings rise! Let's see about that, pest!!"

With that two holders started to fight, but even as Plagg begged him to join, Adrien just couldn't... So he sat there, slowly comprehending everything that happened.

Marinette didn't know a single thing about him, while Lila knew everything, down to the most private details. Worst part? Adrien couldn't remember why be even liked Marinette, not to say why he would even agree to marry her. He looked for any reason, but couldn't find any.

"ADRIEN!!"

The man was pulled out from his spiral by a loud voice. Looking at it's direction, he saw Chrysalis, or should he say Lila?

She held two rings, his parents wedding bands, the Graham de Vanily rings.

"Be yourself, and be free!!"

And just like that, it all made sense...

Plus Adrichat could use a partner who actually likes him and isn’t a controlling maniac to fight crime alongside with

(also I used my own named for Chole and Marc, both are named after ladybugs! Chole is the Painted Ladybird and Marc is the Convergent Ladybug)

1. Scarabella | Alya

- I think Alya would trust Marinette with her identity as Scarabella (I'd like to think this is before her and Adrien reveal their identities to each other, for the sake of the salt)

- Marinette is shocked but seems supportive upon initial reveal

- Until, she starts to ask more of Alya, specifically to try and get things from Adrien that Marinette wouldn't normally be able to get

- Alya is very put off by this, and tells Marinette that this is a job, but Marinette brushes Alya off saying it won't hurt anyone. Adrien will barely even notice that these things are gone!

- Once Alya and Adrien reveal their identities, she immediately works in cutting her friendship off with Marinette

- Alya waits a few weeks before telling Adrien about Marinette's behaviour, as to bot overwhelm him with information when they first revealed their identities

- When Alya offically cuts ties with Marinette, she tries to reveal Alya as Scarabella but fails because (unlike Marinette) Alya is actually good at keeping people from thinking she's Scarabella

- Alya and Adrien agree never to have Marinette weild a miraculous, and cut her from their lives, which angers Marinette, and she attacks Alya and cries that she was faking being her friend

- This ultimately has Marinette believing that everyone has betrayed her and that she's the sole victim in this

2. Ladybird | Chole

- Marinette never finds out about Chole being Ladybird, but she does openly talk shit about the superhero

- She's constantly badmouthing Ladybird whenever she can and even has an alt account that just talks shit about her

- Chole doesn't let this bother her, she had originally tried to defend herself but Tikki kept her from doing so since it would likely reveal her identity

- While Adrien is learning from Master Fu, he decides to try and let Adrien decide who can make a temporary holder

- Adrien agrees and runs this by Chole, he originally suggests Nino and Alya, which Chole is okay with. When he suggests Marinette, Chole denies it, when asked she sheepishly admits that Marinette constantly badmouthing her hero persona has her uncomfortable, upset and angry

- Adrien agrees with this, saying it upsets him because he knows Chole is changing herself for the better, he promises not to give Marinette a miraculous and they go back to the drawing board

- When Rena Rouge and Carapace make their debute (temporaily), it was a struggle at first but the two were quick to catch on. Unfortunately, Marinette is even more pissed off, and keeps bad mouthing these heros

- When Adrien asks her what she would do, Marinette blabs on about how great of a hero she would be and that it would a breeze

- Chole hates this and asks Adrien to make Marinette a temporary holder, this brings Multimouse to the scene, but she absolutely fails

- Tripping over herself, failing at reigning in her powers and even endandering more civillians because she wasn't taking it seriously

- Once everything is said and done, Ladybird rips into Marinette about her poor preformence, saying that this is a job and should be take seriously

- Marinette tries to defend herself, saying that she would have done better if she was the Ladybug holder instead of Ladybird

3. Convergent | Marc

- this is with the headcanon / AU that the two are cousins because i think it'd be interesting family drama 👀

- Marc doesn't see a lot of Marinette outside of mandated family gatherings, so he's not aware of her behaviours, what he is aware of is some critizing how he handles Akum online

- Someone who doesn't seem to hate or like him, but just likes to bring him down, no matter how many of his fans come to his defence

- When he finally sees Marinette again, it's for a family dinner, and the topic goes to the heros of Paris

- This has Marinette making snid comments about Convergent's preformence and how he leaves all the work to Chat Noir, Marc just listens to his cousin rant about him

- He isn't too bothered by this, if Marinette knew it was him she'd understand, right?

- When He and Nath get together, this is when he learns more about Marinette and what she's like in school, with Nath even telling him what Alix has told him

- Her crazy obession with Adrien, this puts a pit in Marc's stomach, and he's quick to tell Adrien when they meet up, he wants Adrien safe (< they've known each others identities for awhile at this point)

- Marc also knows Adrien's thoughts on people like Marinette, it isn't long before Adrien moves classes

- This causes Marinette to be akumatized, and the two have to take her down, when she's back she sobs about her life being over now that Adrien isn't in her class

- Convergent handles Marinette for Chat Noir, he tries to tel Marinette that her life isn't over, Marc tries to bring her down gently but she screams that he could never understand how she feels. That Adrien loved her, and that they were meant to be together

I couldn't come up with anything for Luka :'D but I hope these are okay!!

Don't worry about coming up with something for Luka, these are fantastic!!

I like that we have a different outcome to Alya revealing her identity to Marinette, than Marinette revealing her identity to Alya. The fact that Marinette tried to tell others Alya is Scarabella just adds onto why she can't be trusted with a miraculous, and why she lost her best friend and any sort of relationship with Adrien. Imagine if she did get a miraculous. She'd probably reveal Alya's identity to an akuma, hoping it'd mean she wouldn't be Scarabella anymore.

I like that Chloe doesn't let the things Marinette says about Ladybird get to her, but she also doesn't hide what Marinette has said about her when Adrien asks why Marinette can't have a miraculous. And I like that, once she does have a miraculous, Marinette isn't as good as she says she'd be. If she were as good as she said, she would be good with the miraculous she was assigned, not the one she's asking for.

I like that although he was unaware of what Marinette is like due to not seeing/spending much time with her, once he becomes aware he decides to tell Adrien. He could of avoided whatever drama that would lead to during future family get togethers, but Adrien's safety is a priority. I can see him having the same mentality as Convergent. Others safety is more important than avoiding drama.

Remember when Marinette sabotaged the temporary bathroom to put a two way mirror in?

She really should have gotten in trouble for that, so let's exaggerate what she did since Maristans love to exaggerate the actions of Not-Marinette characters.

In order to get the temporary bathroom, Marinette used her superpowers to break everything up. And then, when the temp bathroom was put up, she snuck in and replaced the mirror and planted the microphone.

Chloe gets transfered to another school seeing as she's being manipulated by Lila and Lila gets in trouble for threatening students, but Marinette gets the most punishment for destroying school property (they're still wondering how a school girl broke so many pipes).

Marinette freaks out sputtering that it was for everyone's sake, but then it comes out that the recordings go right to her phone, where she's collected plenty of secrets from other girls at school. She swears she wasn't doing anything with them, but the recordings are organized...

I do not because I only ever saw like, 2???, episodes of season 5 before deciding was bullshit and refused to watch anymore. Any and all knowledge I have comes from Tumblr and/or random clips I end up finding on places like YouTube :)

That being said, yeah, she should of gotten into more trouble for that.

I like that it wasn't just Marinette who got in trouble. Sure, it would still be good salt, but it's nice to see Chloe and Lila still got in trouble, because they weren't innocent. And I like that they were punished appropriately.

Chloe is going to a new school, where she:

1. Is more than likely going to have to do her own work, rather than have Sabrina do it for her

2. Be put into counseling/therapy, that way she can address what's happening and had happened to her

3. Possibly get a teacher who won't coddle her, but will still be there for her and want to see her truly grow

While we don't see how Lila is punished, I can easily see suspension at the best and expulsion at the worst. I can see her also being made to write personal letters to the people she threatened and payback anyone who had given her money. I can see her being taken out of Mrs. Bustier's class and put in a stricter one's instead.

And then we have Marinette, who thinks she's getting away with everything, only to learn she's in more trouble than the other two. She can try and argue all she wants, but the evidence present is damning.

The fact that it's recordings of girls in the bathroom is what makes it worse for her. Sure, there might not be video recordings, that doesn't erase the fact the girls were in the BATHROOM.

So while she's collecting secrets, more than likely to use as blackmail, she's also collecting the moments they're using the bathroom.

There's no way she didn't catch a girl using the bathroom in between other girls sharing their insecurities and things meant to be private.

So Marinette decides since everyone is so “entitled and mean” for trying to get her kicked off the classrep position thanks to Lila’s lies (When in actuality, it was because she kept skipping meetings and pushing her duties onto Alya and Lila just pointed it out), that she’s deliberately going to take the week off from school during the busiest part of the school year for events and just disappears with no formal warning outside of a note. She heads straight for a fancy celebrity beach resort - and is promptly denied entry because why the hell would anyone let in an unaccompanied minor into a restricted luxury area. Same happens with her other “vacation” destinations. Eventually, she’s forced to return home to her rightly panicked parents and gets grounded for “running away” from home. She decides to sneak out to school to see how everything is going and expects her class is floundering without her “brilliant” leadership - only to see the class thriving because it turns out they managed to get everything and then some done and are throwing a party to celebrate making their donation goals! Seems without having to babysit her tantrums or decipher her overly convoluted charity plans, the class can get on just fine.

What would make this better is if she returned and saw she was successfully removed as class rep. Like, during her little "vacation" they had a vote, brought it up to the other class reps. and their teacher, who agreed Marinette wasn't doing her job, and they voted in for a new class rep.

Marinette is furious they did so, and demands her position back, but everyone agrees the person they chose as the new class rep. was doing better than her. They didn't skip meetings and if they ever did, they would give Alya (or whoever her deputy is if she's voted to be the new class rep.) all the materials she needed to present in their place, and apologized for missing the meetings.

As bonus, maybe she also flakes off being Team Miraculous' leader?? She only shows up to purify the akuma and restore everything?? So when she comes back and expects everyone to turn to her, she's surprised when they all turn to Chat Noir, who has become the new leader. And she's pissed. She's upset. She's the Guardian. She's the one who fixes everything. She's the leader.

"You are not our leader! For days, you didn't show up to fight until we finished things. For days we didn't know what to do.

Do you know how much more destruction there was? Do you know how many more people got hurt because you didn't show up? How some fights could have ended sooner had you bothered to show up with your Lucky Charm?

Chat Noir stepped up quickly. He made sure we got things done. He made sure as many civilians were safe as he could.

Idk if you’ve seen Little Shop of Horrors, if not it’s really good, both the original and the musical version. The songs are great. :)

I also don’t know if this even makes sense, I'm bad at explaining ideas.

Honestly, this could work as a rewrite of the episode where Tikki goes crazy for a galette. Let's say, someway, somehow, the ladybug miraculous breaks that day. Tikki is corrupted. Baked goods isn't enough for her anymore. She just wants food. And Marinette, still wearing the broken ladybug miraculous, decides to feed her. And feed her. And feed her.

But Tikki is still hungry. Marinette doesn't know what to do, until Tikki reaches out and nabs a random person, or maybe even one of Marinette's relatives, and eats them. And this is when it gets to Marinette's head that she can get rid of people she doesn't like by just...feeding them to Tikki.
