games should let you change the name of every character so that you aren't exposed to your deadname ever again.

speaking as a game programmer i sincerely think there's no good reason for games with character customization to not let you change your name, appearance, and body type at will. mmos are the worst offender because every mmo asks something like $10 for a single name change + $15 to remodel your character once..

#bonus points to games that allow you to save presets for character appearances and swap between them at will #really important accessibility for systems!!
