It drives me insane how stupid this show has become and how determined the writers are to force you to like Rhaenyra and her side and only her side because they’re the only ones with an ounce of decency on this entire continent apparently.

What if I said you're a clown, and you don't even understand the characters as you wrote them? What then? What if I called you racist for making racist decisions? What then?

Rhaenyra lost three children (Do you guys even remember Visenya?) so far, and yet that can not be the reason why she wants to take the throne. It has to be a girl who is a century and half away from being born.

But nooo. We got this show instead which only nods to women and motherhood without going into the messy details of how that would work in a world like this.

…That being said I do think it’s hilarious beyond measure that the whole Green Army strategy revolves around Daeron’s own family knowing so little about him they correctly guessed that changing his hair color would fool them.

They stole Nettles story to give to Rhaena because they are fucking lazy and think Rhaena riding a dragon is more important then her having her own plot line.

But no. Just swap out the singular dragon riding POC character with a girl you made black and call it a day. They’re basically interchangeable at this point right?

Can't they realise that maybe, just maybe the collateral damage is a thing???? Besides those were bloody riots not a peaceful meeting. Seems like an insane cope by people who are seething that George isn't pampering their Kween.

Fans love the dragons I get that. They’re cool as hell. But in the context of the story and as careful as Martin is with writing realistic choices people would make or feel in any given situation…why would the Smallfolk who have suffered the most dragon fire wants dragons around?
