I really appreciate the interest! Unfortunately I have a full time job and I just personally can’t imagine balancing commissions into that schedule 😞

not to mention that I spent the past year drawing a lot less than I used to, so I feel like my art is very “out of shape” so to say haha, like I haven’t been in the art gym in a while and now I’m all weak and awkward. That’s actually why I started doing daily drawings again.

If I find a way to draw faster in a way I am satisfied with, then I’ll reconsider it, or perhaps I’ll do something like skebs or opening commissions only for clients who don’t mind a long turn around. I’m not too sure.

Thank you!!! The boring answer is years of practice. The more specific answer is a chase my discontent and layer on top of my paintings, comparing to artists I like and doing “paint-overs”. I rarely am satisfied, usually my stopping point is just when I have a feeling of “the changes I’m making are making the art look worse”, and that’s usually when I post.

That’s a bit harder cause honestly I have trouble identifying who is a villain. Like Cersei is a villain to a lot of characters, like the Stark POVs, but Cersei herself is also a POV

This is frying me why would you not consider that sending screenshots of someone allegedly “hating on my art” might lead to the possibility of me asking said person directly to clear up any potential conflict. Was I suppose to blow up about it publically? Give someone the cold shoulder with no conflict? Especially when the messages or screenshots were sent to me from accounts that were anonymous/alts. I drew the conclusion that this was someone going behind someone else’s back to intentionally start shit using some random artist and this message proves that my hunch was correct and there was never any actual genuine concern for me.

I really love ASOIAF and there are parts of me that miss drawing art for it, but man I have never before been so thoroughly exhausted by an online community. I don’t want to put things on blast but there’s no other way for me to respond to this. I don’t have any issues with individuals in the community and I don’t WANT to have any. But I have a feeling there’s a lot of people who like to attack each other for entertainment and that will never be the community I want to spend my time in.

I’ve been trying, in general, to distance myself from accounts that continuously put negative ASOIAF and discourse on my feeds. It’s tiring to have a piece of art that you really enjoy just absolutely swarming with negativity. Even my art will have people responding aggressively and mockingly towards me because I drew a character they didn’t like or something.
