English isn't my first language, it's my third language, so if I make any grammatical errors, it's because of that.
I try to mostly make the reader gender-neutral, and I avoid going into specifics about the character's appearance. I want everyone to feel included, so I try not to describe the reader's appearance.
There are certain things that I won't write about because they make me uncomfortable.
- Age-gap relationships (certain age gaps are fine, but I might not accept all requests).
- Anything involving CNC, cheating or abusive relationships.
- I won't write about underage characters unless it's platonic.

Since today is my birthday and I have the day off from work, I finally wrote everything I wanted to this month. I finally posted three requests, the second part of a one-shot that I wrote, and a one-shot that I've wanted to write for a while.
Just so you guys know, I probably won't post much in May because I'll be busy. That means I'll probably start posting more often in June.
You can still request (even though my profile says "Requests are closed"), but it'll take me a while to write and post them.
Summary: Teasing Grace while she's at your workplace
a/n: I love women. That's all.
"I'm so excited," you said with a smile on your face as you looked at the picture of you and your girlfriend on your desk, which you two had taken on your first date.
You remember that day very well. Grace was so nervous that she was stuttering the whole time. She kept accidentally pronouncing everything the wrong way and even talking to herself out loud.
Her face had been so pink from the embarrassment that she could barely even look at you, trying to hide her face behind her short hair.
She almost even dropped her phone down the river if you hadn't caught it.
"Is Grace coming over?" a deep husky voice asked behind you as you turned around with the swivel chair to face Leon.
Nodding happily, "She is. I finally managed to pull some strings, and now she's coming over in about 2 minutes and 24 seconds." Your eyes had been looking at the watch the whole time.
Usually, no one besides the DSO employees is allowed to enter the building, but you finally managed to convince one of your higher-ups to let your girlfriend visit.
You had been working at DSO for about three years now, and all because of Leon Scott Kennedy himself, you got to meet Grace in the first place.
He had talked about this girl he had met during the time he had been suffering from the Raccoon City Syndrome, and you remember his exact words.
"There's this girl. She's about your age, and I think you two would get along well. Her name is Grace, and she's a bit anxious - well, actually very anxious - but I think you two could be great friends or even girlfriends or whatever you guys want to call it."
Leon had always been your favourite coworker, and after having met Grace, you liked him even more.
"You're crazy," he mumbled, still loud enough for you to hear, as you responded back, "Crazy in love, old man."
Putting his hands on his hips while leaning on the wall. "I'm not even that old."
Humming shortly, you leaned back in your chair. "True, you move around as if you're in your twenties."
The older man rolled his eyes at you, and before he could say something back, you suddenly got up.
"Grace, you're finally here!" The smile never left your face as you put your arms tightly around your girlfriend.
Even now, the young woman was blushing. She was trying to avoid eye contact with everyone else, not really used to people staring at her that blatantly.
"We saw each other yesterday," she whispered as you let her out of the hug but kept your pinky finger curled around hers.
"Exactly, it's been too long already," and with that, you pulled her towards your desk, sitting her down on your chair while you pulled out another one that no one was using.
The building was huge, and Grace didn't even know how she managed to find her way through it.
"I'll give you two some privacy," said Leon, waving for a second before walking away as Grace's face got even more flushed.
"W-We don't need privacy," she whispered as you started to chuckle softly, your eyes never leaving her face as she shyly looked at you, her heart beating fast once she made eye contact.
"Didn't know that you were into voyeurism," you started to smirk as she started waving her hands around while saying "no," which was quite loud and made a couple of people turn around.
"Sorry," she blurted out as the DSO employees couldn't help but smile at her.
And before you could start teasing her further, a voice was heard behind you. "So that's the girlfriend you were swooning about."
Turning around, you nodded enthusiastically. "Yes, that's Grace. My beautiful girlfriend."
Sheva started to laugh softly as she held out her hand to introduce herself to Grace, to which Grace introduced herself back with lots of stutters, but at least Sheva seemed easy to talk to, which calmed your girlfriend a bit down.
"I'll leave you two be now," the woman said, but quickly leaned down towards you and Grace before she left. "There's no need to be shy, and by the way, you have a pretty smile."
Hearing that made you grin as Grace started laughing nervously, obviously not having expected the compliment but also being flustered.
Slowly, you pulled your chair closer to hers and leaned in, your faces almost touching each other. āYou use that smile like a weapon every time. Isnāt that right, Miss Ashcroft?ā you whispered in her ear while starting to leave small kisses all over her shoulder and neck.
"Not in public!"
"As if that's the first time we have done something like that."

Hours had passed, and you were still at the hospital.
The doctor had told him you were stable, that there was no immediate danger anymore, but that your body needed time to heal from the wounds you had suffered during the fight with the tyrant. Those words should have brought him comfort. They didnāt.
During the hours you had been taken care of, he had worn a path into the hospital floor, pacing the halls over and over again.
People had begun to stare. The look on his face was far too grim, and every now and then quiet words slipped past his lips - broken thoughts no one could understand.
The moment he was told he could see you, he was through the door before anyone could say another word.
And there you were. Lying in the hospital bed, bandages wrapped around your body, skin bruised and torn beneath them.
The sight of you made something in him ache. Sadness settled heavily in his chest because it had been you who got hurt, and anger followed close behind - anger at himself for the things he had said during training.
Leon had hoped you would wake up on the first day. You didnāt.
Still, he never left your side.
Even Chris had been contacted by Hunnigan, worried about the DSO agent. He came when he could, though every time he entered the room he found Leon in the same place: seated beside your bed, eyes fixed on you as if looking away might somehow make you disappear.
He only ever left when Chris practically forced him to eat something or take a walk, because it was obvious the blonde was blaming himself.
He knew you were going to be alright. He knew the danger had passed.
But that didnāt change the fact that he could have lost you.
āDonāt forget to eat,ā Chris said as he walked toward the door. Before opening it, he turned back one last time. āAnd donāt beat yourself up over it.ā
Then the room was quiet again.
Only you and him.
Leon sat beside your bed, holding your hand tightly in his.
No matter how long he looked at you, it still felt like his heart was breaking. The bandages remained wrapped around your body, though he changed them himself whenever the nurses allowed it.
The wounds looked bad. Especially the ones across your back.
Leon stared down at the floor, thumb brushing over your knuckles as his grip tightened.
āIām so sorry.ā
His voice was barely above a whisper.
āI really didnāt mean it. Anger got the best of me, and I wish Iād never said any of it.ā He swallowed hard. āIf I hadnātā¦ maybe you wouldnāt be lying here now. I know this was my fault. Knowing you, you probably didnāt want to tell me about the tyrant.ā
A short, broken laugh escaped him.
āYouāre stubborn. Youāve always been like that.ā
Your index finger twitched for a moment, but Leon didnāt notice. He was too lost in his own thoughts.
A few seconds passed before you realised he hadnāt felt it. Gathering what little strength you had, you forced out a hoarse croak.
āLearned that from you, you idiot.ā
At the sound of your voice, Leon squeezed his eyes shut.
āI think Iām going insane.ā
A weak chuckle left you as you slowly turned your head toward him.
āTook you long enough. Now look at me, Leon.ā
He let out a shaky breath before finally lifting his gaze to yours. The moment he saw your eyes open, a soft gasp left him as he said your name like he couldnāt quite believe it.
Before you could tease him again, he leaned forward and wrapped his arms around you as carefully as he could.
āDidnāt realise that you missed me t-ā
Quiet sobs cut you off.
āOh fuck, heās crying,ā you whispered.
Slowly, ignoring the ache in your body, you lifted a hand and rubbed his back. You murmured soft reassurances, telling him it was okay, though he denied it through shaky breaths.
āLeon, even though your words did hurt me, itās also my fault for not taking it seriously. Especially knowing how much you hate seeing anyone get hurt.ā
Softly, you pressed a kiss to the side of his head.
āItās okay. Youāre okay. Weāre both okay. We made it out, and thatās what matters most.ā
After a moment, he finally calmed down and pulled away, enough to sit back in the chair. His eyes were red, his cheeks damp, but he was smiling down at you and you smiled back.
āHave I ever told you how pretty you look when youāre crying?ā
Leon stared at you in disbelief, voice rough with emotion.
Summary: Leon can handle many things, but an angry wife isn't one of them.

You were fuming, your hands gripping the steering wheel so tightly your knuckles had gone pale as you drove to Leonās workplace.
Usually, your mornings started perfectly. Your husband always made sure to give you a kiss before leaving, promising to be home early. And before he walked out the door, he always fed Turkey.
Yes, Turkey - your baby German Shepherd, who was incredibly well-behaved and loved the both of you more than anything.
No matter how stressful life got or how urgent an emergency meeting was, the two of you always made time to feed Turkey.
The rule was simple: whoever woke up first fed Turkey.
And it had worked flawlesslyā¦ until today.
You were suddenly woken by a soft, pitiful whimper beside the bed.
Groaning, you turned over and looked down. There he was - Turkey, the adorable dog Leon had gotten you for your birthday. But this time, he looked devastated. Betrayed, even.
You immediately sat up and pulled him into your lap. āWhat happened?ā you asked, rubbing his head.
Turkey gave you one tragic look, then launched himself off the bed and sprinted out of the room.
Since he wasnāt the type to cry unless something was genuinely wrong, you followed him downstairs in alarm.
He led you straight into the kitchen.
And there, the horrifying truth became clear.

He had forgotten to feed Turkey.

Still, you took the time to feed your poor, starving German Shepherd, who acted as though he hadnāt eaten in years. Then you grabbed your car keys and stormed out of the house.
āUnbelievableā¦ā you muttered under your breath. āHe forgot to feed Turkey.ā
The entire drive, you stayed furious, honking at anyone who so much as breathed incorrectly near your car.
When you finally parked, you marched into the building like a woman on a mission.
Your footsteps practically shook the lobby floor as you stomped toward the elevator, tapping your foot impatiently until the doors opened.
Around you, DSO agents whispered nervously.
āWhatās she doing here?ā
āDoesnāt Mrs. Kennedy have the day off?ā
āShe looks mad. Iām scared for whoever caused that.ā
The elevator doors slid open, and you stepped inside, immediately pressing the button for the floor where Leonās meeting was being held.
You were so focused on your rage that you barely noticed the four people already inside with you.
Since everyone was headed to the floors above, the ride took a while. You stood there in complete silence, staring straight ahead like vengeance itself.
āIs she okay?ā Chris whispered, leaning down so only the three others could hear him.
It had been a while since heād seen you this angry, and frankly, he valued his safety.
āItās been a while since Iāve seen her this mad,ā Jill murmured, sneaking glances in your direction while pretending not to.
āIām betting this is because of Leon,ā Sheva said, leaning casually against the wall as she studied your expression.
āHow are you so sure?ā Chris asked.
āAnd how much?ā Jill added immediately.
āA hundred dollars,ā Sheva replied. āSheās too quiet. Usually when sheās mad, she's quite vocal. If sheās silent, itās serious. That means it's Leon.ā
Jill shook her hand. āI say itās something else.ā
āShouldnāt we have gotten off at floor twenty-eight?ā Chris asked suddenly, staring at the panel.
They were already at thirty-four.
Getting closer, Rebecca pointed at the two women, now deeply invested in their wager.
āWe should follow them,ā she whispered. āIn case something goes wrong. Alsoā¦ I want to know why sheās mad.ā
Without a word, Chris nodded and slowly pulled out his phone to text Leon. 'Hey, did you do something wrong this morning?'
The second he sent the text, the elevator doors opened. You marched out and stomped straight toward the meeting room.
The four agents followed silently behind you like nosy backup dancers.
They watched as you reached the door - and kicked it open so hard it nearly made them all wince.
Everyone inside the meeting room jumped and turned toward the entrance.
There you stood.
In your pajamas.
With house slippers on.
āMrs. Kennedy,ā one of the higher-ups said carefully, āI thought we gave you the day off?ā
You ignored him completely and marched forward until you stood directly in front of your husband.
āLeon Scott Kennedy!ā
The sheer fury in your voice silenced the entire room.
Leonās eyes widened in immediate horror.
āForgetting my morning kiss was your first mistake,ā you said, pointing at him while placing your other hand on your hip. āBut I couldāve overlooked that.ā
The room remained deathly still.
āBut forgetting to feed our child?ā you continued. āThat is unforgivable!ā
Everyone gasped.
Except Leon, who leaned back in his chair like a man accepting his fate.
āThey have a child?ā Rebecca whispered.
Sheva silently held out her hand toward Jill.
With a sigh, Jill slapped the money into it.
āIt was a pleasure doing business with you,ā Sheva smirked.
āB-baby, I really didnāt mean to,ā Leon stammered.
You cut him off immediately.
āYou forgot to give Turkey his food! How heartless can you be?ā
Now the room looked deeply confused.
Besides you and Leon.
āTheir child is called Turkey?ā Chris asked, horrified.
No one answered him.
āYou and I made a rule,ā you continued. āWhoever gets up first feeds Turkey! Our little German Shepherd was practically crying!ā
A chorus of relieved āOhhhhhhā filled the room.
Everything made sense now.
āMaybe we should leave,ā a higher-up muttered, already backing toward the door.
The rest quickly followed.
As the four agents turned to leave, Leon looked at them with the most desperate expression imaginable.
āYour fault,ā Sheva said flatly before walking out.
The others followed.
āTraitors,ā Leon muttered.
āAre you even listening?!ā you snapped.
āYes, I am, love of my life!ā Leon said instantly.

If someone had told you that twenty-one years later you would be laying in Leonās arms, you would have laughed in their face.
He hated you - and you had given him every reason to.
Two people couldn't have been more different.
Leon was a hero. From the day you met in Raccoon City, it was obvious he was destined for something greater. You, meanwhile, were the villain in his story. A mercenaryās life was all you had ever known, and betrayal had always been part of the job.
Even now, you could still remember the way he looked at you every time your paths crossed.
The first time, his eyes had been full of heartbreak and betrayal.
You had been one of the people responsible for destroying countless lives. You sold information on the black market for your own gain. You worked beside those who unleashed the virus onto the world, and still you stood before him with an unreadable face.
Leon had been young then. So had you. But the tragedy had carved itself into him.
He blamed himself for failing to save the people around him, while you had been one of the reasons they needed saving in the first place.
And Leon hated himself most of all for believing, even for a moment, that you were good. That you were someone like him.
But you were nothing like him.
His words that day had cut deeper than any knife ever could.
āIf I ever see you again, Iāll kill you without hesitation.ā The threat sounded foreign coming from his mouth, and yet he spoke it with a conviction that left no room for doubt.

Then one day, your mission brought you back to Raccoon City. The place where you met Leon. The place where everything had begun.

At first, you said nothing. You had only intended to give her the antidote so she could save Leon, then disappear once more. But something inside you had shifted.

āIāll find Victor Gideon,ā you said quietly. āMake sure Leon gets the antidote. He needs it." You stepped toward the door, then paused for a moment without turning back. āTake care of him. He needs someone to look after him.ā
Then the door closed behind you, leaving Grace alone.
Hours passed before Leon found you.
Graceās frantic words telling him she had seen you were enough to send him running, but he was too late.
There you were.
Lying motionless on the blood-soaked floor, your body bloodied up, while Victor Gideonās corpse lay several feet away.
You had done it. For once, you had been the one to save the day.
Leon dropped to his knees beside you and gathered you into his arms. Your eyes were still open, blinking weakly as he pulled you against his chest.
āWhy did you do this?ā he asked, his voice breaking. For the first time, everything between you was gone. The hatred. The anger. The betrayal.
Only sorrow remained in his eyes.
Blood slipped from the corner of your mouth as you coughed, but a faint smile still touched your lips.
āNo matter what, Kennedyā¦ā you whispered. āIām glad we met. I have many regretsā¦ but this isnāt one of them.ā
Then you exhaled one final time.
A tear slipped from Leonās eye and fell onto your face.
At least this once, you had been in Leonās arms.

Today's the day you broke Leon's heart. You are a mercenary. You are going to sell off the information to the black market. You know Leon hated traitors. He hated you. You know you fuck it up but deep down you still love him with all of your heart.
"If I ever see you again, I will kill you without hesitation." Leon said coldy. His eyes were blinded with rage, coldness, betrayal, and hatred. The very blue eyes that you loved became unrecognisable.
It's been 21 years. You are still loving Leon in the shadows, following him to every single mission, watching over him, and helping him out during missions.
You remember where you accidentally encountered Leon face to face in an underground facility. He shot you at your lower abdomen, but you managed to escape. You don't blame Leon. You deserve it. That scar still remains.
Leon has contracted the Raccoon City Syndrome. You as well. You met Grace. You told her to take care of Leon if you did not make it out alive. You gave Grace the anti viral, and you will destory the ARK.
Once you were at the ARK, you got into a battle with Gideon. You know your body is not holding much longer.
By the time Leon got to the ARK, he saw you gotten impaled by Gideon's testicles. You know this is the end for you, but your wish has came true to see Leon once last timeš (you died in Leon's arms)

It was a normal day. You both had been at home, and it all started with a cough.
At first, you ignored it, but Leon kept his eyes on you throughout the day, and slowly things started to fall into place for him.
Your husband always observed everything around him, sometimes on consciously and other times unconsciously. It had been a habit he had developed ever since joining the DSO.
He noticed the things you didnāt. The way your skin had gotten paler, your hands trembling, the restless nights, and the sweating during your sleep.
It all seemed like a cold to him until he caught a glimpse of the back of your neck.
There it was. The dark spot that had crawled its way onto his and Sherryās skin, and now onto yours too.
Everything went quiet in that moment. You had already turned around to look at him, and even though you asked him if he was alright, he didnāt respond.
His eyes were slightly widened, and his hands had involuntarily curled into fists. It was as if time had stopped, and the only thing he could hear was his heart rapidly beating in his chest.
ā...I have to make a call.ā With that, your husband abruptly stood up and went into your shared bedroom while you could do nothing but look after him.
Pulling his phone out, he could barely search for Sherryās number due to his hands shaking ever so slightly, and he didnāt even notice that he had managed to dial her number until he heard his name being said.
āSheās infected.ā That was the only thing that left his lips, and the young woman understood immediately, yet she couldnāt help but utter a āWhat?ā in disbelief.
Trying to research didnāt help.
The blonde woman was on the computer most of the time, and everything she searched up wasnāt leading to anything.
Leon had even gone so far as to give her access to files only he was allowed to look through, and yet Sherry couldnāt find anything - not a single antidote to save you.
At this point, it didnāt even matter how Leon or Sherryās condition were, because you had started feeling worse, drastically.
That one dark spot turned into multiple. Your sleep became even more restless, and you grew weaker day by day.
Your husband remembered the day clearly when he told you what was happening. Your eyes had filled up with tears, and you started to panic.
Each breath was harder to take than the next, and you were scared, probably even terrified, and Leon couldnāt do anything about it besides holding you in his arms and promising you that heād find a way to heal you.
The days after became a bit easier to accept for you, as you had already been scared when he first got infected, so you werenāt alone with the Raccoon City Syndrome.
But Leon couldnāt accept it. He wasnāt going to.
He started staying up later than usual, never leaving your side, scared that today would be the day you would take your last breath.
He barely ate anything, having lost his appetite, but still got you to eat because he couldnāt bear the thought of you stopping taking care of yourself.
At work, he was easier to provoke, especially in the training room where it became visible. His movements were sharper, harder, and faster.
The people around him started to get worried. Leon would close himself off even more than he already had done before, and he would barely talk.
When he was at home, though, he was completely different.
He was very gentle and would try his best to make you feel alright, even when you would tell him to calm down and that you werenāt going anywhere.
And on one particularly stressful night, he broke down. You had been in your bedroom and were waiting for Leon to come upstairs, but the more minutes passed, the more you grew worried.
You had trouble getting up and you still tried, not caring if you could fall down, and the moment you made it downstairs, the sight of Leon broke you.
He was sitting on the sofa, his elbows resting on his knees as his face was buried in his hands. You could hear the frantic breathing and soft, unfamiliar sobs he was letting out while he was shaking.
Wanting to speak, you opened your mouth but stopped abruptly when you heard him say something. āPlease, not you... I canāt.ā And the sobs didnāt stop.
Tears had made their way to your eyes, and you slowly walked towards him until you laid your hand on his shoulder, which made him still before slowly looking up.
His eyes were red and his skin paler than usual. āYou should be in bed,ā he whispered, trying to get up, but you pressed your hand down so that he remained sitting.
āYouāre hurting yourself, Leon. Weāre both suffering, and youāre making this harder for yourself.ā Your voice was gentle and comforting. Even though you wanted to cry, you didnāt, because right now he needed someone to calm him down.
Leon started shaking his head. āI canāt lose you. I have to-"
āYou donāt have to, and I promise you weāll both get through this.ā A small smile made its way onto your face. āThe Leon Scott Kennedy I know always finds a way, and he has not once failed to save the day.ā

Your voice was heard through the quiet bedroom as you now leaned against the closed door, keeping your eyes on your husband's back while he was reading through the letter again.
āDon't start with that too.ā Zuko wasn't really amused, biting his lip while his fingers curled around the right corner of the paper.
No matter how many times he read through it, the feeling didn't leave him. Something was going to happen, and it wasn't going to end well.
At least Aang still found the time to joke around, as he had asked for some firecracker buns.
While your husband was completely engrossed, you had walked up to him, waiting a couple of seconds for him to realise that you were standing behind him.
If someone had told you that Zuko was going to become that tall, you wouldn't have believed them, but after all, you two had met when you were still teenagers.
The tall male still not noticing his lover, he sighed heavily, which made you slowly put your arms around his waist.
For a second, Zuko stopped breathing, and then a soft, too-quiet-to-hear gasp made its way out of his parted lips.
No matter how many times you would touch him and show your affection, it would still have an effect on him, a good one.
Feeling your skin on his always made him realise that he wasn't alone. Maybe back then he had enjoyed the loneliness, not having enjoyed the company of others, as they always looked at him as if he were a monster, but it changed over time.
Zuko needed someone to calm him down. Someone who felt safe, someone who wouldn't leave him, and he found that in you. You never looked at him as if he were a monster. Sure, at first you didn't get along, but that still never made you say anything hurtful about him.
Your thumb lightly stroked over the fabric of his top, the feeling of his abs beneath your finger. āRemember to breathe,ā you whispered against his back, hearing him breathe in slowly before exhaling.
Without a word, Zuko dropped the letter onto the small bedside table to now hold your right hand in his. His hand was calloused and bigger than yours, yet he held you as if you could break any second.
You gently laid a kiss on his back, slowly moving your arms away from him to sit down on the bed, and before Zuko could make a sound, you put your hand on his arm to pull him down so that he was sitting next to you.
The expression on his face had relaxed a fraction, but the frown was still visible in his eyebrows. His normally picture-perfect posture now hunched slightly forward, his elbows resting on his knees while his long hair was held up in a bun, only two strands left out.
āDo you want to talk about it?ā Zuko heard your question and only responded with a slight shake of his head.
It's not like he hadn't missed them, he really did. Even though everything started out badly, he still learned to like them. Aang had not really changed, still beaming with happiness and finding ways to joke around. Katara was just as stubborn as she was when she was a teenager, but also gentle with everyone around her. Toph was chaos through and through, but in the best way possible, and Sokka would always find a way to be sarcastic but also overprotective, even without the bending abilities.
But it's been a while now. Though they did send letters to each other, meeting them would mean another adventure. The start of something that they might never be able to finish.
And honestly, Zuko was scared.
While your husband was deep in thought, you had gotten out a small hairbrush from the bedside table, quietly shuffling to sit behind him on the bed as your hands pulled his hair out of the bun.
Only then did Zuko snap out of his thoughts. His long dark hair now free from the restraint. āCan I?ā
He didn't even need to know what you were asking about because he knew that you wanted to brush his hair, so he gave you a quiet āyes.ā
You softly brushed his hair, trying not to accidentally hurt him as Zuko slowly closed his eyes, enjoying the feeling of the brush.
āYour hair has gotten so long,ā you murmured, making Zuko smile slightly. He knew how much you loved his hair, but wearing it down was probably your favourite.
āSometimes I feel like you only started liking me when my hair grew long.ā Zuko jokingly said while leaning slightly back so that you could brush through his hair easier.
That made you chuckle softly, making your husband realise what you were thinking about. āDon't even dare say a word.ā
And you stayed quiet, knowing how much he hated being reminded of his old hairstyle.
After a couple of minutes, you put the hairbrush on the bed and gently ran your fingers through his hair, making Zuko lean back even further just to feel your touch.
āStarving for my touch?ā you cooed, a grin making its way onto your face as he chuckled. āWas it that easy to tell?ā
āVery easy.ā You whispered into his ear before gently turning his face to you with your hand on his cheek.
Not wasting another second, you leaned forward, pressing your lips gently against his. Just the slightest feeling of your plush lips always made him crave more as he tilted his head slightly to the side so that he was able to press his lips properly against yours.
None of it was rushed, taking your time as Zuko relaxed into the kiss even further, but before it could get heated, he slowly pulled back, his eyes searching for yours as you opened them.
āI love you,ā he breathlessly whispered, now touching your forehead against his as you responded back with an āI love you too.ā
And then, Zuko realised that everything would be fine. He had you, and you weren't going to leave.
Summary: No matter how much time passes, you will always cherish every moment you spent with Leon.

āBaby?ā Leon's soft, confused voice drifted through the living room. You didnāt answer. You remained sitting on the floor, unmoving.
That alone was enough to worry him. You always answered - sometimes with a full sentence, sometimes just a hum - but never nothing.
At first, he checked the kitchen, thinking you might have wandered off because you were hungry. When he didnāt find you there, the unease in his chest deepened.
He made his way upstairs, each step quicker than the last, until he reached your shared bedroom.
The door was slightly ajar.
He paused, then gently knocked on the door. āCan I come in?ā His voice was quieter now, more cautious.
A soft 'yes' reached him.
Leon pushed the door open and stepped inside. At first, he didnāt understand what he was seeing, you sitting on the floor with your back to him. But, as he moved closer, he noticed the familiar photo album in your lap - the one you had both kept tucked away in the closet.
He didnāt speak. Instead, he lowered himself down beside you, grunting softly as his knees protested.
His gaze followed yours.
The photo you were touching was worn at the edges, your fingers rested lightly over his face. Your touch was gentle.
"That one just brings up bad memories," Leon murmured, his voice low but clear.
You didnāt agree.
To you, those memories werenāt something to avoid ā they were something to hold onto.
Proof of everything youād survived. Proof of him. Of you. Of us.
The picture was taken years ago, after Spain. After the nightmare that was Los Iluminados. After bringing Ashley home safely.
āLeon, what happened?ā Your voice trembled as you asked, your eyes wide as you stared at the dark veins creeping beneath his skin.
He staggered back and shook his head. "Donāt come any closer. Please.ā His voice was strained and barely held together as he braced himself against the wall.
Thatās when you noticed everything else. The unnatural paleness of his skin. The way his breath came in sharp, uneven gasps. And when he groaned - just for a second - you saw them.
His teeth were sharper.
āI want to help,ā you insisted, stepping closer to him.
He avoided your gaze, his fists clenched so tightly that his knuckles turned white. Sweat glistened on his skin as he fought something you couldn't see, causing him to drop to his knees.
"You need to leave," he whispered.
You shook your head, slowly kneeling down in front of him. "Iām not leaving."
Tense and fragile silence stretched between you until he finally broke it.
"They... injected me. The parasite.ā
You cursed under your breath. First Ashley, and now Leon.
But panic wouldn't help. It never did.
"Are you in pain?" You asked quickly. He shook his head, his voice faltering. "I canāt explain itā¦ I just-" He swallowed hard. "I have the urge to bite."
That wasnāt right. Ashley hadnāt shown any signs of that. You studied him, thinking and piecing it together.
Then it clicked.
"You smell different," he admitted, his voice almost sounding ashamed. "I just want to..." He didnāt finish. He didnāt have to.
You slowly rolled your sleeve up, exposing your forearm. "Bite me." The words came out steady, even though your heart wasnāt.
Leonās head snapped up. āNo.ā He shook his head immediately and shifted back as much as he could. "Iām not doing that."
"If it helps you, then yes, you are." You moved closer anyway, unwavering. "Iām not going to sit here and watch you suffer."
"Pleaseā¦ I donāt want to hurt you."
"I want you to bite me." That stopped him. For a moment, neither of you moved.
Then, slowly and reluctantly, he nodded. His hand was gentle as he took yours and pulled your arm closer. You could feel your pulse throbbing beneath your skin as your wrist hovered near his lips. He hesitated.
You smiled softly and met his gaze. "It's okay." And then he bit down.
Pain shot through you, sharp and sudden, and you hissed. He almost pulled away, but you pressed your hand closer, urging him on.
"Keep going," you said.
It was slow. Careful. Controlled.
Despite everything, he was gentle, his thumb brushing against the back of your hand as if to ground himself. His eyes never left yours, searching for any sign that he had gone too far.
When your strength began to falter, he stopped.
You swayed forward and he caught you instantly, pulling you into his arms. "Iām sorry," he breathed, his voice thick with guilt. āI didnāt-"
You shook your head weakly and rested against his chest. āI told you toā¦ā Your voice softened, fading slightly. "I'm just a little sleepy."
"It doesn't bring back bad memories," you said quietly, bringing Leon back to the present.
He looked at you, surprised.
You smiled, still holding the photo between your fingers, the teeth marks visible on your wrist "I cherish all of it. Even the bad days.ā
You turned the album slightly so he could see it better. "It reminds me that you were there, That we got through it together.ā
Leon studied the picture again.
You both looked so young.
So tired.
So alive.
"Iām glad we met," you added softly. "Even if it was because of Umbrella."
For a moment, he didnāt respond.
Then his lips curved into a small, genuine smile - the kind that only ever seemed to appear when you were around.
"Yeah," he said, his voice now warm. "Me too." His gaze lingered on you, softer than before. "I wouldn't want a life without you."
Just finished rewatching a play-through of re4 and it gave me an idea for a Leon request. Instead of being infected with las plagas, Leon gets infected with something that kind of turns him into a vampire? Or maybe las plagas manifests differently for him, but Leon grows fangs and craves blood like a vampire. And his partner (gender-neutral) works with him and was also sent on the mission but they donāt get infected. And Leon tries to avoid drinking blood as much as he can, especially from his partner even though they offer because he clearly needs it since heās getting more and more sick. So eventually Leon caves and drinks from his partner. Of course heās healed in the end, but he still feels guilty since the bite mark will probably leave a scar but his partner thinks it looks like a cool battle scar or something

"Hit me," he said, his tone serious and lacking any hint of softness. He was standing in front of you with a good amount of distance between you.
He would usually be different towards you. He was a bit more gentle and almost soft, but when it came to work, he was focused.
An hour had passed and the two of you were still at the training centre because of the mission that was going to happen tomorrow.
But you like to play around a bit during training, that has always been your thing. It didn't matter who you were up against, you would try to distract them or not take anything seriously. In most cases, that would be the best way to train with the younger agents - not Leon, though.
After everything that happened in Raccoon City, Leon didn't want to make another mistake, which is why he was so serious about the training.
"Didn't know you'd be into that," you smirked, walking slowly around him. His eyes never left yours, and he stood ready for your attack.
Your boyfriend, who is also your mentor, shook his head in disapproval as he took a step closer, wanting you to swing at him.
Your eyes were fixed on his every movement. You're not bad at your job, everyone knows that. You just aren't motivated enough to train every day.
He flinched back abruptly when you took a step towards him, having expected you to attack, but you didn't. Now you just stood in front of him with the most relaxed posture he had ever seen in a training room.
"Come on, hit me!" Leon said a bit louder, furrowing his eyebrows in frustration, but you just smiled at him. "Don't feel like it," you said.
With that, you walked away from him towards your bag on the floor. One hour of training was surely more than enough, especially for people like you two.
However, your boyfriend didn't see it that way, as you could hear him groan quietly with his hands on his hips.
Looking back at him, you could see the frustration was more than evident. "We don't need to train for hours every single day. So far, we haven't failed any missions."
Leon remained standing in the same place. "You don't take anything seriously, do you?"
That wasn't something you expecting to hear from him. You tilted your head to the side. "I do. This job is important and serious to me."
You stopped mid-sentence upon hearing a sharp chuckle. He stopped resting his hands on his hips, and now they were just hanging at his sides. The smile on his face didn't reach his eyes.
"Yeah, so important that you can't even take an hour of training seriously."
You were getting frustrated and irritated now, too, as you leaned against the wall and crossed your arms. "I did take it seriously before. I just don't feel like it today."
Leon huffed softly and started to walk towards the exit, but then stopped near you. "Then don't ask me for help when you get injured," he said.
Oh, how you wished you hadn't acted that way yesterday.
The tyrant's heavy footsteps didn't let up as he walked fast but steadily towards you while you were still contemplating on informing Leon.
But remembering what he had said to you, you decided not to provoke a repeat of what had happened in the training centre.
So you continued destroying the laboratory, which was annoying enough, and with Tyrant chasing after you, it was even worse.
And the moment you finally activated the time bomb, you felt someone grab the back of your shirt, but before you could turn around, you were thrown across the room and slammed into the window, shattering it.
"Fuck," you grunted, standing up shakily. Your vision was slightly blurry, and it took a couple of minutes to focus.
You were thrown into the main hall, seeing the Tyrant walking towards you again which made you pull out your gun, but then heard Leon's voice "We have to get out of here, or else we'll get blown up."
You stumbled a few steps back and heard frantic footsteps as your boyfriend held you up, he had seen the glass shards protruding from your abdomen.
"But the tyrant-"
"He'll be dead after the explosion. Now let me carry you." You tried to push him away, but he insisted and you gave in.
Thankfully, there was still time to escape while the Tyrant tried to chase you both, but failed when Leon went through a different door, leaving the big guy to search the halls.
You couldn't remember what happened after you finally got rid of the pursuer, as you were going in and out of consciousness and could only hear your boyfriend trying to keep you awake by talking.
"Hold on for me, baby. I'll get you out of here, I promise."
'I'm sorry for what I said. I really didn't mean it."
"Please say something, even if it's just a single word."
This was one of the things you could clearly recall from the mission.
Leon is the mentor for Y/N, who is also his girlfriend. Y/N sometimes does not take her training seriously. It sometimes irritates Leon.

With her last amount of energy, she has to destory the lab. Once she starts the time bomb, Y/N has collapsed due to blood loss. Leon came to save her on time.

I do, of course, love all those lovely fanfics featuring dad Leon, but as there are SO many of them, over time I started to feel a bit down reading them.
