Back to the painting, I’m actually reasonably happy with this one, a painting of the Tridou Haussmann restaurant building which is very representative of a popular style of Parisian architecture from my observation.

Been swamped lately, so back to painting after quite a while! I’m not used to ink drawing with no pencil work, so a ton of mistakes with this one midway, but ran with it ... Ink and wash is definitely one of my favourite styles in watercolour but still figuring out how to get it right. This is from a photograph of the Musikverein building taken on my recent trip to Vienna.

Missed last week, back to painting some street lampposts, here’s one of the nice ones all over Amsterdam. Details directly with a brush so pretty rough >.<

Did a fun, very quick, rough sketch & painting this week, this one is a house i see from my window. The trees coming alive with spring make Amsterdam’s streets so so pretty!

Last week’s painting is Tong Heng’s egg tarts and a traditional Singaporean breakfast of kaya toast, runny poached eggs and kopi at Ya kun kaya, to add to an illustrated city travel guide I’m working on!

For week 8 I did another illustration to add to my travel guide, this is the Singaporean special - Chilli Crab 

For week 6 & 7 I did an illustration and painting of Peranakan houses in Singapore’s ChinaTown, plan to use these in my long time pending illustrated travel guide project .. Next up will be some food illustrations to add to that guide.

This week’s illustration is Steve Harrington my favourite character from Stranger Things Season 2, which was awesome btw. The type turned out quite off, but  I am happy with the painting improvement!
