Yanbaru Whiskered Bat Myotis yanbarensis

It is known only from three islands of the Ryukyu Archipelago, south of Japan, Okinawa (where the Yanbaru forest is situated), Amami Ōshima, and Tokunoshima. The species has been classified as Critically Endangered by the IUCN.

Focus on directors to find what you like. They're generally consistent. I actually really like watching directors' movies in chronological order cuz it sorta unlocks a lot about their code.

But uh. Kurosawa and Scorsese are probably the two best ones to go to if you really want to get serious about movies. Godard essentially invented the modern movie, from what I can tell, and I need to start watching his shit. Most of the actors and directors I truly love also talk about Fellini in their criterion closet videos. John Waters, David Lynch, and I'll say Jodorowski if you want to watch weird shit. Ok actually you know what.

Watch the New Hollywood directors. Most important probably being Coppola, Scorsese, De Palma, Friedkin, and Spielberg. I gotta watch more Altman, I'm not super familiar with him, he's a part of that pack. Lately I've been watching a lot of Schrader, he's sort of with them but he's also sort of a dark horse. George Lucas is also in there, but he's a complete moron that bumbled into five billion dollars.
