I can’t find the FAQ so I hope this isn’t a frequently asked question! My wife showed me lady of the shard when we were still living apart and our relationship was brand new! It was one of our first shared interests and we still talk about it to this day, I’m so happy the artist is on tumblr and that it turned 10 recently!! Have you ever considered doing a physical copy of the comic? I love physical media and your work is something I want to hold on to even if the internet imploded or the site went down etc.

thank you very much. i don't think a print edition of lady of the shard in its original form is ever going to happen. it simply was not made to be printed and the thought of it gives me a headache. and also soulsov is the only thing in my brain at the moment. if the site goes down i'll reupload it somewhere else. if the internet implodes we will all have much worse problems than the loss of my comic.

I wish I had elaborate and insightful words to say about your visual novel, but I am grateful that other people have written the analysis I can't seem to form into words. I'm looking forward to more and maybe in denial about how there will only be 8 chapters. I am definitely still grateful that soulsov is incredibly dense with substance that supports the story. There is so much richness despite its brevity. I hope writing and art is going well.

Also, are you doing soulsov in addition to a "day job" type situation, I assume? If you're willing to answer, do you do illustration work to make ends meet, or is it something else? I've wondered this for a while, but maybe I just didn't know because I wasn't on twitter or elsewhere? I feel like your projects you post and the art you make are similar areas I want to pursue, but I am wondering what the reality of the situation is like. Thank you

thank you very much. i hear this sentiment a lot: "i wish i had any eloquent words or deep analysis" and so on. i'm not really expecting that from anybody. i just want you to read and enjoy my story.

8 chapters is more an estimate. that's not a metanarrative tease or anything; it's just that i'll have a better idea of how to divide up the last chapters when i get there. that's why i say "there are two acts and chapter 4 is the end of the first one."

i guess i haven't actually said this before, since i don't talk about my life much, but i've had a "day job" unrelated to art for a while now. soulsov is doing okay for a little game on itch, but it's not paying my bills. i think the reality of the situation is that in order to make a living by posting art on the internet, you need to be very lucky and very committed to cultivating an audience. i am the first and not so much the second.

I am getting back into makeup as a fun artistic expression thing for myself. I got a clown themed eyeshadow palette. Ysme inspired me. Y’Know people are mad about her women’s wrongs but I think she has some valid points just saying

i hope you have fun with the makeup. i don't know if anyone is "mad" about ysme's things that she does, at least from the feedback i've received. i think the worst i've heard is "i dunno if i can do this man"
