Hey remember what I said about making changes to the OTW and AO3 from the inside? Fuck that shit, I was completely wrong. Stop giving them money, stop wasting time voting in their rigged elections, and start giving them noisy, angry hell on every single fucking platform you can find. Especially white people.

I loathe being stuck between the rock and the hard place of AO3 being the ONLY place I get any kind of engagement on my fic, and how much I hate, in order, the organization and people who run it, their policies, their volunteers, and the people who stan for them.

This article on AO3 and their failure of moderation is brilliant. It acknowledges the irony that AO3 has completely ignored calls for blocking and moderation when it comes to violent racism, but is suddenly responding now that the "community" is complaining about a 1 million words fix interfering with their "sexy times."

Like the pop-diagnosis of Hitler as having psychopathy which seems mostly based off his actions as leader of the Nazi Party and not his personal life which I think would be the most important thing for an attempt at a -psychological- diagnosis. I’m not a trained psychiatrist Hitler seemed to hate seeing animals harmed whether they were his personal pets or not, which isnt really consistent with psychopathy from what I’ve read (I understand exceptions are a thing). Plus what did he cause public to adopt his same psychological disturbances? What about the bureaucracy? Hardly anyone seems to apply the same to Winston Churchill despite how he performed actions which clearly showed extreme callousness.

The idea that women are more nurturing than men and the idea that women can’t sexually abuse men makes male children easier for adult female rapists to target.

As we progress and realize that that is UTTER BULLSHIT (and as we work to put fewer children in juvenile detention facilities because here’s a thought: putting kids in prisons - even kid prisons -  is bad and can largely be avoided) there are more avenues for men and boys to report abuse and be taken seriously.
