Why oes the fandom want Shadow Milk to be a father so much if they think he'd be bad at it and then accuse others of supporting incest when others don't see those ships that way?I've seen it happen with Ash Salt,Candy Apple,hell even Pure Vanilla once.
Candy Apple's crush on Shadow Milk is 80% o her character,you can't just handwave it away with "oh they're family therefore it's just admiration!"
You know what other group of adults has power over children,makes way more sense for Candy Apple to have a maladaptive crush on and actually fits Shadow Milk's character and role in the story?Teachers!
I've had plenty of teachers call me kiddo and be patronizing before at pretty much every age,this is not a thing unique to parents.
Unless you take the statement that she was born from Shadow Milk's first lie at face value(in the literal lying out of your ass chapter no less)there is little else supporting that headcanon that couldn't be explained with something else
