like, are they in cahoots. can they laugh together. do they have a similar enough or at least complementary enough outlook that they can connect over something being funny (even if it's funny in a fucked up way! sometimes those are the best in-jokes!)

You're a Roman soldier. You've settled in for the night. You drew the long straw and got to sleep tonight. You've just drifted off after a long day of marching toward what you think will be victory. And then you're awoken with a start. You hear deep bass growling, and the sound of a trumpet. There are even sounds of what seems to be screams (because you can make those scream if you choose).

And you don't know how many there are out there because the sounds you're hearing overlap, and the acoustics (unbeknownst to you) are making it sound like you're surrounded.

And then, you're under attack. Your spirit shaken, your resolve barely holding on, you're in a fight for your life against warriors with hair spiked up, faces stark white with lime, chests bare and no less bright and frightening in the pale firelight that you made to see a bit further in the darkness. You are under attack by what seems like spirits or demons.

They gave every astrologer a set of 50 things about a person and 5 birth charts to choose from. They weren’t even coming up with the chart themselves!

After taking the test, most thought they nailed it. Zero out of 152 did better than 5 out of 12. None nailed it

-the video is from a time before sharing files across devices was trivial, which is why it looks so bizarre. my brother took the original video which i believe was a snapchat video which somehow got uploaded onto my parents’ computer, where my brother showed it to me. i immediately recognized the comedic gold and insisted on getting my own copy, so i re-filmed it on my own digital camera, which is why my brother is narrating what the video will be about before it starts. i then managed to get it onto my tumblr through a series of dark magic rituals. this is why it has an old mac toolbar AND a weird caption AND a vidlab watermark. simpler times indeed

-preston was fine. he was scratched up and got some rabies shots but this was not the first, last, or worst injury incurred by a young man who decided to follow my brother’s recommendations for what would be a good and cool idea to do. (his best friend was taken from our house to the ER six times over the course of middle and high school.) to my knowledge the ringtail was also fine despite his encounter with the cast of temu jackass.
