"Spam Hunt" - Published by TV Time Inc. for the NES (1984)
Released at the peak of the home console's popularity, "Spam Hunt" was sold alongside the TV Zapper - a gun shaped controller originally created for this title, but would continue to see use in future TV Time games such as "The Lonesome Cowboy" and "Cooking with Guns".
With time "Spam Hunt" has become an infamous collector's item, as it's many glitches made the full game unbeatable as well as attracted a cult following around it's many secrets. In late 1997, any copies still commercially available (including secondhand copies) were recalled for unknown reasons, gathered by the hundreds, and quickly incinerated.
Any collectors looking to obtain "Spam Hunt" should be warned that playing the game for long periods of time has lead some to experience strange symptoms such as vivid hallucinations, hot flashes, nose bleeds, delusions of grandeur, irritable bowels, and seizures.
