I know she joked about planning things three years out but do people really believe she was dropping eggs for this new album years ago while shooting midnights videos?? or can we just admit that she’s probably liking the connections we’ve made?

I’m thinking about this more and it’s kind of like saying “hello mr casually cruel” in Mr Perfectly Fine means she was planning All Too Well. And it’s like, there’s a difference between planning something and just having these concepts floating around in your head, creatively turning them over and over until you get it right. Same with the concept of being a “showgirl” etc. And there’s a gradient between them, like it’s not all black and white like that, but I think the latter is actually a lot more special of a thing to get to watch unfold. And I think that she loves seeing us connect parallels as a result of that but it doesn’t mean it was all Masterminded™️ this whole time
