just had a dream that there had been a made for TV top gun sequel in the 90s that had almost NOTHING to do with top gun except for probably one of the worst character assassinations ever committed to screen (the portrayal of Maverick in this dream movie was...simply abominable) and in the dream said movie was one of those 'so bad it basically ended up on every streaming service in the modern day' movies including THE WEATHER CHANNEL????

and anyways I woke up literally thinking 'yes I'm gonna write fix-it fic for this movie' and it took me about five minutes to realize that movie thankfully does not exist 💀
