“Technically I’m supposed to describe it as a rehabilitation program. But yes, it’s a timeout team.”

“I guess so.” Gabby rolled her eyes, not sure what Regan was trying to hint at there. It was just kind of the norm to be slightly animalistic when it came to the small family of Wolverines she had on Krakoa. Logan, Laura, Akihiro… She wasn’t offended by the comment. “You know you can just change your name, right? It doesn’t even have to be Mastermind related. I mean.. I’m Scout.”

“What?” Cindy questioned, shaking her head as she quickly tried to backtrack. “No. I just… lost my train of thought.”

“can’t say that i did,” alex shrugged, taking a half step backwards as regan approached, “ - don’t take this the wrong way, but why so aggressive? and should i be worried …? ”

Felicia slightly flinched at the sound of the glass breaking before stepping forward through the glass and delicately grabbing her bag of chips. “Thanks. I was getting there.”

“If yer’ lookin for Sam or Paige, you’ve got the wrong Guthrie. Is there somethin’ I can help you with?”

“i uh –– ran into a doorknob.”

“Cute. That’s the mutant team they place people who are on time-out in, right? Given the whole parole thing, I just assumed.”

“Keep telling yourself that.” Everett resisted the urge to pipe in with more, not wanting to come off as overprotective or anything like that. Laura was gorgeous and he knew Regan was just trying to get under his skin. “No, I haven’t seen him, why? Got some Hellions stuff to chat about?”

Daisy knew it was a mistake as soon as she saw Regan hit the floor. It was like her body had just reacted without letting her mind catch up to her. Before she knew it, she was suddenly standing inside of a quinjet. No, not just a quinjet. The quinjet. She could see the warhead sitting there, just as she’d prepped it before she was supposed to take control of the ship and fly it out into space. “S-Stop this.” Daisy insisted, trying her best to add a firmness in her tone despite it wavering. She hadn’t seen Lincoln since he’d pushed her out of the quinjet. She’d almost forgotten what he’d looked like, which filled her with an unbelievable amount of sadness. No, no, this wasn’t real. “Okay, you made your point.”

“no yeah, i’m totally fine. clones are, you know –– a lot more present in my life than you’d think. that’s not weird is it?”

“i mean, i’ve been - okay. you know, all things considered.”

“hey, that is awesome. you should be very proud of yourself. seriously.”

Janice let out a loud laugh. “That’s hilarious. I mean, own your sexuality and all but… It sounds a bit try-hard.”

Felicia groaned for a moment before hitting the machine again, this time somehow managing to knock down a different snack than the one she paid for. “You’ve gotta be kidding me.”
