Well Joshua, so far you are three for three with inspiring #veggie dishes. Here's some roasted #cauliflower with #figs in a lemon/#yogurt sauce, with toasted #sesame seeds and #scallions. If anyone is hoping to up their veggie game, #SixSeasons is kind of blowing my mind.

For those of you following my home made #yogurt adventures, this last batch from the ant hill soil starter is the creamiest yet! Making great use of my #ProofingBox, thanks to @greenman47 and @pozbuddhalight!

Ginger flank #steak over rice #noodles with cilantro, mint, sesame, and sliced raw veggies. Good thing I made like 879 pounds of it so I can have it for lunch all week.

Tried a new #sourdough recipe today. So crusty. So chewy. My #yeast babies are close to being 2 years old!

It's Sunday and you know what that means: time to rearrange my #GeneralStore a.k.a. #MasonJars of dried goods, which are now complimented by a #letterpress printing type drawer (a gift from @Candice and nod to my former profession) and handmade wooden scoops. Once I find some more old small glass jars, I'll also be displaying a few more choice #spices with the the #QueenAnnesLace seeds I harvested this fall (and which are quite delicious in curries, I might add).

2017 winter break Bakus Maximus: I guess this was the year of the cake! Meyer lemon bundt, Chinese pork dumplings, sourdough rye, blue kuri squash salad, triple tipsy whiskey layer cake, cinnamon star bread, apricot couronne, turkey + ham croquettes, and a woodland bûche! And now, it's treadmill time. #WorkHardEatHard

NYE 2017 a.k.a. #Vegetable Builder Night v2

Because of the pre-Christmas ice storm, my #baking schedule got pushed a bit. What was supposed to be a #Bûche de Noël ended up being a Bûche de "Nouvel Année" instead. #Chiffon #cake rolled with coffee syrup and espresso #buttercream, topped with dark chocolate and almond #ganache "bark," #meringue mushrooms, and #coconut "snow." SO CUTE. (And pretty tasty, too—anyone want to make a New Year's resolution to come eat from my "closet of cakes"??)

In which the #homesteader dreams of snow melt and the backhoe that will dig a trench for the badass #garden fortress in the #spring. So many #crucifers to come.

The couple that deep fries together... Thanksgiving turkey + Christmas ham #croquettes—keeping the Bell family recipe alive.

So far, this #apricot #couronne is definitely the winner of the week. I started with @paul.hollywood 's basic enriched #dough recipe and stuffed/twisted it with apricots, #currants, #walnuts, dark #chocolate, and dark #muscovado sugar. Brushed on top with apricot jam, drizzled with #icing, and sprinkled with slivered #almonds. Get. It. All. In. My. Belleh. Immediately.

Seeded #sourdough #rye...probably the shortest #loaf I've ever made! Shoulda opted for the smaller pan. At least the cracks are aesthetically pleasing...
