My yard fruit is starting to ripen. I harvested a bowl of white currants, a bowl of black currants, and a handful of black raspberries.
White currants!
Last week a branch from my neighbor's mulberry broke during a storm and smashed a bunch of my plants. The power company removed it before I got home from work, I wasn't even aware what had happened and had to put it together based off the sawdust and scattered debris they left behind.
This currant had completely disappeared. Luckily currants are pretty resilient and it's beginning to put out new canes after just one week.
