Alright, if they wanna go ahead and hammer down on an actual semi-linear plotline for the movie, then go for it man, but there better be at least something added in that addresses the nature of the Rum Tum Tugger and Mistoffelees relationship, even something as simple as in why of all the characters it’s Tugger that’s singing Mistoffelees song and pretty much doing exactly for Misto what he did for himself in his introductory number.

And if they, um, just so happen to dance together a few extra times because of it then so be it, no complaints here✨

I majorly stan! Their own poses in this number summarizes their personality and I freaking love it like,,,

Mistoffelees with his two paws on his hip, as if to laud his performance like in his number

And Tugger at the back has his paws on his belt like a fucking rockstar. Here’s a closer shot:

Note at how Jelly, Tumblr, Jemima, and Coricopat have different poses as well.

It’s not that clear too but, Munkustrap at the back has his right paw extended to the audience, like his usual soliloquy.

Mistoffelees's coat is bugging me. Like it definitely doesn't look good but it's kind of something a dramatic goth might pull off. It's black, it has clear tailoring, the lights and glitter have been replaced with weird silver discs that act as borders and patterning. Which is just........wrong for Mistoffelees. The lights and the glitter are not patterning to make him look fancy, they're sparkling, they're shining, they're his magic not a decoration he's put on. Douse him in the effects used for Edward's vampire skin and be done with it.

Honestly the cgi isn’t even what I’m the most made about. What I’m MOST mad about is that they didn’t cast an actual dancer as my favorite character who is most notable for having a big fat god damn dance solo in the original musical
