I love the phrasing of this tweet but I disagree with its conclusion. The reason SU was able to resolve narrative conflict in its diplomatic way (while still feeling like there were actual stakes) is specifically *because* the conflict almost always had a significant interpersonal element - the crazy bitches lezzing it up bizarro-style was in service to the emotionally optimistic approach to conflict resolution, not despite it.
