god israel's destruction of tyre is like especially depressing tbh like thats one of the oldest inhabited cities in the world. people have lived there since the bronze age. there is so, so so much history and world heritage there that's being blown up and destroyed forever because its existence doesn't fit israel's nationalist vision of history.

However. I do think there is one instance where he would put Blade first, and that is in regards to his own flaws. It's precisely because he cares for the Express Crew so much that he puts pressure on himself to be the best version of himself for them. When it comes to his shame, he doesn't want to show them that, so he goes to Blade instead because he feels that Blade has already seen him at his very worst, and that it doesn't matter if Blade sees that again. With Blade he can at least be free from the expectations he can't help but have of himself, and he'd probably also feel more comfortable because he doesn't feel that Blade is better than him the way he seems to feel about the Express Crew.
19-year-old Khalil Al Habil's liver and kidneys are failing. Shrapnel damage from the bombardment that killed his baby brother Omar has gone mostly untreated due to a lack of funds and resources. The ill effects of this damage have progressed to the point that the organs are losing their ability to function. Khalil urgently needs 3 rounds of treatment to combat the effects of his deteriorating liver and kidneys.
We've paid off the first round of treatments but Khalil has two treatments that he still needs. The second costs about $1,250 usd, but we haven’t made much progress in more than a month and his condition is getting progressively worse. We need to meet this second goal ASAP!!!

Before the war, my life was defined by the precision of a microscope and the life-saving results of ELISA machines. As a Laboratory Medicine Specialist at Al-Shifa, Al-Rantisi, and Al-Awda hospitals, my mission was to diagnose diseases and save lives.
Today, that world is gone. The laboratories are destroyed, and my "white coat" has been replaced by the struggle for survival in a displacement tent.
The Shift: From Diagnostics to Survival 🔬➡️🏚️
My professional journey has been forced to a halt, and my daily "metrics" have changed:
Instead of biochemical levels, I monitor my children’s and elderly parents’ ability to endure freezing cold.
Instead of diagnostic results, I search for a single drop of clean water for 19 family members.
Instead of a medical provider, I am now the sole guardian for 7 displaced families who have lost everything.
