The first supertall building was the Chrysler Building, completed in 1930, almost 100 years ago. Today there are well over 200, scattered all around the world. These buildings stand between 984 and 1,965 feet in height. (Buildings higher than this are "megatall", and there are only four of those, though more have been proposed.)

This section has just two members: the original 1 and 2 World Trade Center.

Before those two buildings collapsed, no other supertall had been destroyed. It's been a quarter of a century, and no other supertall has collapsed since then.

There is nothing we can compare it to. Figurative language makes it easier to talk about, but it's still hard to wrap your mind around.

My OC Walt, from my story Windows on the World (2021). He’s the MMC, who at first represents what FMC (Phoebe, who works in the restaurant above, WotW) has been taught to reject. The story is about different types of prejudices and how they can come from anyone and be directed to anyone. Phoebe thinks this man is just a soulless corporate suit. And she assumes certain things because of his faith.

But he turns out to be nothing like she thought. Yes, he is rich, a workaholic, seemingly cold, boring, and a lone-wolf, aside from certain quirks from his OCPD, and etc. But they will find out they can learn things from each other and that they think alike. Deep down he is sunny like the restaurant logo. :3 ☀️

He is anti-Zionist btw. Just like Pheebs. The reason he wears a David star is bc Phoebe gifted it to him on Hanukkah as an apology for shunning and judging him because of his religion. So he wears it as a symbol of that, not of Isntreal. The tie was also a gift from her.

The story was never completed because I decided it was not going the right direction, there were many things I wanted to change about it, so hopefully someday will come the day when it revives properly lol
