Friendship version of the ship Strattland where its an AU where they're both IB students trying to get into a good college. Only problem is Eva, the amazing disciplined student who never struggles in science, math, history, and English is suddenly failing chemistry. Turns out she sucks at chemistry. Turns out she actually really sucks at biology too and god damn it physics.
She looks over and sees Ryland: the kid currently failing history cause he sleeps in class and who is struggling in English absolutely crushing this class with ease. She thinks hes an idiot and questions how he's even in the IB program but decides to make him a deal. you teach me chemistry, I teach you history. She quickly realizes hes not dumb he's just a nervous tester, has dyslexia, and refuses to try if he thinks he will fail.
He quickly realizes she gets super stressed out and angry if she makes a single mistake or cant understand something, and throws herself into figuring it out to the point of exhaustion and burn out.
They both have to fix the other's problem and help them pass the other class. Over the course of them learning, they become friends and it ends with both of them graduating tied as Validictorian.
