i absolutely loved writing this chapter even though i struggled a bit to write it and i hope you’ll like it too.

if you don’t know about it dare me is a netflix original show adapted from a book focusing on a group of cheerleader and their new coach in this small town in the middle of nowhere. i would say the atmosphere reminded me a lot of the one from euphoria. but i think you can’t summarize the show better than this quote from the book and the show : "there's something dangerous about the boredom of teenage girls"

two of the main characters, addy and beth are best-friends and clearly more which has created a new wave of fanfics and they are good.

here i present you my favorite ones at the moment and i hope you’ll like them as much as i did:

a new fic ? a supercorp fic ? that’s right little dragonflies, i wrote another one and i like it very much.

it’s a college au revolving around a certain sweater but really it isn’t that much about the sweater.

here is a quick summary :

Sometimes you think that you've lost your favorite sweater forever and then you see a stranger wearing it around campus. And surely, you can't let it go again.

yes the rumors are true i wrote and posted my first supercorp fic on ao3 and i’m very proud of myself for just gathering up the courage to write this and link my work on here (it’s actually the best place to do it)

i’m open to any kind of advice and my writing obviously needs improvement but we all have to start somewhere can’t wait to hear from you at anytime

i’ve recommend this ship before but i’ll do it again because i found some really good fics made by the same person who also made a series that i love.

i’ll just link the series and let you judge for yourself but if you are looking for good writing, a tangible plot and some twisted kind of romance in the middle it is for you.

don’t blink you (might be missed) by anamatics is the series in question and i really consider their fic as the backbone of this fandom, you should definitely check them out.

listen up, this fic was three chapters in when i found it and hadn’t been updated in months but you know i still subscribed because i had hope and i was right

this little fic went from two chapters to twenty two chapters in a day and it is now completed

honestly i had a little heart attack when i saw it i couldn’t even wrap my head around it and i’m not being dramatic (maybe a little)

anyway i’m so happy to recommend you this completed work that is i’m almost me again (she’s almost you) by lostariels

in this fic lena caries a broken heart that she tries to heal by doing a walking trip starting from Scotland to France. along the way she meets kara and she sees that maybe her heart can be healed in a way she didn’t think was possible.

be ready for a lot of descriptions and a warm feeling in your heart because you’ll be right there with lena all along this story. you’ll also learn a lot of things about antique, clockworks, wine making, honey making and a whole lot of things during this fic so go ahead!

well, not really but it’s really good and maybe you’ve already read it bc it is a pretty popular fic.. i think? i don’t really know honestly i just know that you should read it if you haven’t already

it is only by dark by foxbones and it will break your heart i’m telling you but there is a light at the end of the tunnel and this is why you should give it a try and let your heart break a little

[if you’re already familiar with the show you can skip the following paragraphs and just go directly to the text in bold, i just write a lot don’t mind me]

if you don’t know it euphoria is a new hbo show which have zendaya as the main character, it’s truly a magnificent show about addiction, depression and so much more without romanticizing it and it’s intense (really if you are sensitive i wouldn’t recommend it but if it’s ok for you go for it!)

anyway, the main character, rue, is in a relationship with another girl called jules played by hunter schafer (if you don’t know her you should definitely check her out) and it’s just a whole mess but an endearing mess dare i say

to summarize i’m already obsess with them and this is why i’m going to recommend to you not one but all the fanfics i read and liked about them so far.

there isn’t a lot of fics out there so if you want to test your writing skills and stuck out it can be your chance!

now that i’ve stop rambling here are the fics :

Stormy Nights by SandieSwensonsEarmuffs is a fluffy fanfic where rue is scared of thunderstorms and she just happened to share a bed with the very person she needs to go through the night (spoiler alert it’s jules)

Eustress by Killjoy013 is a really sweet fic where rue basically can’t contain her gayness anymore

Finally Reality Of A Dream by Killjoy013 (again) is my favorite one so far, jules and rue are figuring out their feelings for each other while being sad and strangely in love it’s just really well written and i’m hoping for a third chapter we never know also smut in here be aware
