I'm lowkey rly tired and should go to bed but take this AU idea before I do:
Spider suddenly wakingn up one day with no dreads and stripes. His hair is cut short into a buzz cut, his blue markings are scrubbed of his skin. He's several years older, between 18-19, and wearing human clothes.
All around him, people are standing over him and just stare. Kiri, Lo'ak, and Tuk all look older. More mature than they ever should be. Jake and Neytiri are there too, their expressions aged even more than those of their children. Spider has no idea what happened, only that his headache hurts and that something is wrong.
The whole atmosphere is incredibly dense to the point of uneasyness. He blinkes- once, twice, thrice as his eyes get used to the light. When he opens his mouth, all he can ask is "W-What the hell happened to me?"
Above him, people exchange worried and hopeful glances. Spider asks again, "Guys- seriously, what's going on?"
More glances. Then Kiri carefully ventures forward. "Spider," She speaks his name like a hushed and precious prayer, "Who- Who am I?"
He looks at her like she lost her mind. "What kind of weird question is that!? You're Kiri, my friend, why would you even---"
Before he can react, everyone around him almost curshed him to death in a tearful hug.

Your usual brainwashed Spider AU where the RDA turns him into their perfect little soldier, an emotionless weapon able to be turned on any enemy they see fit to eliminate.
But its entirely set in aftermath of it wherein after years of being controlled by the RDA, Spider managed to get a head injury so severe it basically factory reset his brain to his 16 y/o self pre-brainwashing.
Enter: Spider waking up in a body older than je remembers literal years into the future. With a Sully family suddenly unhinged af and obsessed with him after they had to experience years of him being made their enemy.
