I hate stan culture and think it erases character nuance. Very much believe you can like a villain/character who is terrible because they're fictional and fascinating to you. You can like a character and also be like "yeah they're fucked lmao" and I appreciate people who do.
Now imma say that zaundad alt timeline fans who specifically stan silco are the funniest fucks because they bend over backwards to woobify Silco like he never did or could never do anything wrong lolol
Please know I love Silco. He's such a fantastic character and I appreciate him very deeply and occasionally think of him as a little meow meow but fuck dude. A "little meow meow" is a character you baby while fully acknowledging that they committed atrocities and y'all forget the later part and just woobify him because Vander choked his shit out after his warning to Silco got ignored and ended up killing their best friend. Frankly - I don't blame him! He made the monster but fuck dude.

"He-he wanted Vander to join him first though!". And then when he didn't he was gonna murder him and his four kids, two of which were his best friends daughters. Like he kidnapped Vander to bait the kids into coming and then was gonna have them beaten the fuck up and killed
"They reconciled long before Violet's death in the alternate timeline!!"
It's ambiguous when but regardless even so I'm allowed to say it's funny as fuck that Vander married the guy who would have tried to kill him and his four kids, which AGAIN two of which were his best friends daughters.
like this guy is a villain in the main timeline and while, thankfully, avoiding that in the alternate still was on that path. That's what makes him interesting don't erase that. This man had teeth. I'm glad there's a timeline he didn't use them but damn let's be for real please
