The deal was that raven didn’t want the danger that came with having the relic or with being the maiden so Yang convinced her that she could have that target on her back instead this is a pivotal moment for them cause it shows raven would rather let Yang be in danger then her and Yang accepting this and using it

She traded safety for the relic

And she stuck to that deal

And Yang lying about about the maiden thing (really just not actively bringing it up she only really lied the one time) shows that she still cares about raven and is in character because her problem isn’t lying in general it’s the betrayal of it

Like she’s not going around leading them on failed pretenses that someone else is the maiden or anything

Ozpin had been leading them to do something that he was told by like the GOD OF WISDOM was not possible and NEVER TOLD THEM

Yang lying about what happened in the vault is used to demonize her a lot, but it misses the point of why she was so pissed off at Ozpin. She lied about Raven because a. It was something they could figure out and b. It wasn't something that mattered anymore. They only need the Maiden for opening the vault to get to the relic inside. Yang telling everyone who the Spring Maiden is wouldn't have changed anything as far as the main plot goes, and Raven had made it clear she wasn't willing to cooperate with them at that time.

Apparently, according to the behind-the-scenes documentation, this dog was just fuckin like that. Almost never, if at all, looked at the camera crews and production teams. Never excitedly wagged his tail on set no matter how much of a good boy he was being. If he did, it was the same… deliberate motions.

I’ve had people (non-pornbots) try to strike conversation out of nowhere in my DMs recently, and now I’m wondering if they were doing that because they wanted to follow me and thought they needed to interact first.
